REALLY long story short..He might be
able to install a unit but DONT hire him for repairs unless you are ready to buy a new unit. I got three quotes and he was the only one who said I needed a new one. hmmmm...
His "service call" left my furnace a COMPLETE mess to the point no one else would touch it after him. See my pictures.
He absolutely refused to return my furnace to the condition he found it and when I called and asked (I did not think to check before he left) he yelled something and HUNG UP ON ME! I even called back because I was desperate and offered him more money, but he still refused. SUSPICIOUS!
He then sent a text to me by mistake "she is a dipsh*t" Now who do you think he was talking about???
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Very satisified with product & service.
Trabuco Air installed my Amana heat pump system about a year ago. I like the system (it's much more effective that the original equipment that was installed by the builder) and the installation crew was very good.
Unfortunately, the system developed a problem after 10 months (stuff happens sometimes with any system) - but when I called Robert he called back right away and came by to have a look the next day. He and his assistant spent the better part of a day tracing down the problem and it is working great once again.
I would certainly recommend Trabuco.
Thanks!
Trabuco Air would like to thank Dan Z. for posting a nice review. Most people do not take the time to leave a positive review. Most people post reviews when they feel unhappy with a service or company. So normally for any company of any type, for every positive review post there are over 20 more happy clients which didn't take the time to post a review. It's refreshing to know that we have made a client happy enough to post a review.

This review is from a client that we declined her project.. This person who wrote the above review used email as her main form of communication. This person called us at nine at night; we didn't call her that late as she claims. We had been in communication with her for three months regarding her project via email. We never made any appointments with her. We only made a tentative appointment. She called us the night of the tentative appointment to confirm and at that time we asked her for some details regarding her project. While she described her project, we realized that this was not a normal project it would be complicated. This was basically rebuilding her home around her HVAC system redesign. The next day we gave her project some thought and emailed her that we would not be coming by to give her an estimate. She had just moved into her new home and was remodeling the home from the ground up. All of our years in this business we have learned that when someone buys a new home, starts to remodel the home from the inside out, that they always put their money into the status items and want to install a (half-ass) HVAC system, fact. Trabuco Air doesn
Did not meet my expectations.
I just bought a house in June with my husband and we were very excited to move in and start our fixer upper project. We knew moving in that we needed an updated air/heating system since the one on the roof was obviously old and an energy drain. I had contacted through a website from HGTV some heating and air conditioning contractors so that I could get some bids and pick a company I thought would be honest, do the job right and hopefully not cost us our life savings.
I was contacted by the owner of this company and he was very nice, we e-mailed and phoned back and forth trying to set up a time for him to come out. It seemed to me like he had to keep rescheduling. I work from home so I was here and ready to get my bids. After a while I kept thinking "well I guess I just have to go with another company" but then at 930 at night around the 4th of July the owner called me and said he would not be the cheapest bid but they do great work. I told him I was not only looking at price and would still like him to come out and do a bid. He then started talking to someone else and hung up on me. HE called me back and said he was talking with another client and had to disconnect but he would still come out the next day between 12pm and 2pm. I was painting my kitchen that day and at about 2pm was wondering why he didn't show up. I then checked my e-mails and found one from him saying he was not going to be in the ball park and was not going to come out after all. I was so irritated because we had never discussed my budget and he never even came out to see the system. I did describe it to him but I don't know anything about AC/Heating units so I thought he would at least come out and see it. Since he saw my bad review he has sent me no less then 4 e-mails saying he is sueing me because I didn't put down all of the details about how he called me late at night and was working so hard with other clients. Well it was nice to talk to him when he thought he was going to get business but it seems he has more important things to take care of.
