There is never a cover charge for girls...... This is a good sized dive bar with fun, cheap drinks, and specials every night. There is a $2 drink night Thurs and Sat from 8pm. $5 cover for guys, ladies are free. There are pool tables, darts, shuffle board, chess tables, video games, dance floor, etc. The Karaoke nights are Tues, Weds, and Fri. You don't even have to get a stupid code from the book, you just sign up your name and the song you want. They have more songs than anywhere. Th Dj has a great sound system making it hards for most to sound too bad! He'll tweak with it according to your voice and the song. It's great!!!......... Not sure about the previous review as I hardly ever see marines, why would marines be around if it was dominted by homosexuals, anyway...? That wouldn't make sense! They obviously got turned down by a girl there, and her boyfriend was probably a marine.....lol.... There is a variety of people at night.... they are all there to have a lot of fun!

alright. i live walking distance so its an ok place for some drinks every once in a while. I do love my dive bars but as for this one it is at the bottom of my list. The crowd usually consists of marines and lesbi's. Smoking is allowed inside so when you leave you always smell like an ash tray. I would much rather be at Goat hill in costa mesa but like I said if you live near by its alright for a few drinks. if you drink enough any place can be fun..

Karaoke Fridays and DJ Saturdays. I love this place. It is a small dive bar, if you will, with lots of character and fun. No pretentious snobby N.B. people. Drinks are cheap and good. The bartenders and rockin cool. I guarantee a good time will be had by all.
