Great Service and Professionalism.
I had visited Enid's in 2007 when I had started chemo for breast cancer. I was told about this estiblishment being very good with cancer patients as Enid herself was one.
I met with my friend who is a hair cutter there so that we could pick out a wig. I didn't realized that I would get such good care by the staff there, as well as Enid herself cutting the wig to compliment my face. I was very pleased with the wig I bought. It was a synthetic wig which I paid over $300 for, but let me tell you it was well worth the money and easy to care for. They say you get what you pay for. I bought a couple other wigs through TLC and they were awful wigs made really cheap and weren't expensive. I will not do that again.
I plan on going in today to look at bras. I will continue to recommend this business to anyone but especially a cancer patient. God bless this business. I pray Enid is well and look forward to seeing Enid and the ladies again.
Nice service but overpriced. The service was good. Enid herself styled my wig. The only problem was the wig was way overpriced. I should have done my research. A synthetic wig for over 250$. Found the same wig online for much much less.
Kayla's Wig Purchase Today 7/25/09.
You are NOT going to believe this, but we left Kayla's wig that we bought today at the store along with the Black eye brow shadow. Her parade is tomorrow........is there ANY possible way we can arrange to get it before tomorrow? We have to leave south orange county by 8:45 AM. Can you help? We think it got left on the white dresser that is in between the chairs on the top shelf. It's the Shiloh GInger Brown. Answer me on this cuz I don't want to give out my number online.
A Polite Rebuttal, And Reassurance.
Hi! My name is Amy, and I work at Enid's. If you visit us, you will most likely meet me (I'm the redhead :) ) I helped the young lady "Very Unknown" who wrote the previous review, and I am sorry that she wasn't satisfied with her purchase, but I would like to clarify the nature of the sale.
This young lady wanted a long, straight, very pale blonde wig. She picked out a couple styles to try on and I brought out the color swatches for them, since we didn't have very pale blondes in stock for those wigs. One of the wigs had two pale blonde colors that it came in; i pulled out other wigs by that brand that we had in those colors and we tried both on. Neither suited her, so we looked at the colors that the other one came in and she found a color she liked. I showed her the price in the book and she agreed to it. Since it was a Saturday, when the manufacturers are not available, I told her we'd call her on Tuesday, when we opened again, to make sure the manufacturer had that color in stock.
Unfortunately, that brand did not have the wig she wanted in that color. I gave her a call to come in again and we looked at a couple of other different wigs in the manufacturers' catalogs. She really liked the color of a 3/4 hairpiece (not a full wig) that we had on display, so I looked for a wig with that company first, but they had nothing in that color that was the style that she wanted. So, we looked at the other brand and found a nice style. I brought it out in the brown/blonde color we had in stock at the time so she could try on the style. Then I brought out the color swatches and found a blonde that the wig came in. I showed her the swatch next to the 3/4 hairpiece she liked and she agreed that it was a very good match. I showed her the price in the book and she agreed. She paid the majority of the price and I put that wig on order.
The next Tuesday, that wig came in and so did this young lady. My coworker Ashlee put the wig on her and showed her how she could integrate it with her own hair. The young lady had brought along her boyfriend and both he and she expressed their approval of the wig. Enid, who was cutting a wig for a customer in the other styling chair, asked the young lady if she needed the length or bangs cut. The girl said no, that it was fine the way it was. She came up to me at the register and paid her remaining balance, and then she left. As far as we knew, she was satisfied.
At 10:00 the next morning, as soon as we opened, she came back in with the wig. I was unable to be there until 10:30 that morning, so it was Ashlee and Enid who dealt with her, but the account they gave me was this: that the young lady came in acting very agitated and said that the color was wrong and that we had cheated her on the price. Like I mentioned above, I had showed her the color against the other hairpiece she liked, and she had agreed to it, so there was nothing we could do about that. Ashlee brought out the catalog that had her wig in it to check the price, but it was listed as the same price that I had previously told the girl. She might have confused the price with the first wig we ever tried on, which was $40.00 less, but she had seen and consented to pay the price of this other wig, so there was nothing we could do about that either. Since she had worn the wig out, and had it overnight, we could not grant her a return (legally, sanitation law prevents it, and it says so on our triplicate receipts). She left the wig on the counter and left heatedly.
At Enid's we work very hard to satisfy our customers and to help them feel confident with the wigs they buy. I hope that my account of the situation will clarify things, and to reassure you that Enid, myself, and my two co-workers do everything in our means to provide you with lots of options, fair and upfront prices, and eager, friendly service.
We're excited to see you!
THE MANAGER HERE, ENID, IS HORRIBLE AND CRANKY.
I recently purchased a wig here, they gave me a slight different color then what I ordered, and told me it would be identical looking.
I get it home and it looks absolutely horrible. I hated the color, It made me look weird and washed out. I took it back and the manager was getting all in my face saying how I could not return it. So I left the wig on the counter with her and left with a $220 hole in my pocket....
Best Care!!!!!. I was recommended by my doctor to come here as I am undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer and will be losing my hair. I was so pleased by the service I got there! There were a bunch of different styles with lots of modern ones and the workers were all really knowledgeable and friendly. Enid herself is a wonderful lady who has been through it all herself and she sat down with me personally to help me style the wigs I chose. She gave lots of good advice for chemo patients and it was so comforting. I'm getting reconstruction but they do have prosthetics and bras for after surgery, and I bought a couple of scarfs and a hat there too. I would recommend this store to anyone, but especially if you are going through chemo! It was so refreshing to talk to people who cared!
great service!. They really spend time with you and they have a very good selection. I really loved their customer service, couldn't believe how friendly they are. I've found it best to call to let them know I'm coming in to try on wigs so that the wait is not too long. The owner has been in the wig business for many years, she is a wonderful woman. I will always give them my business!
A great place. This place is fantastic. They have a hugh selection and the girls that work there are very helpful and knowledgeable. I went there with my wife and we were very happy with what we found. We have since bought several wigs there all of which were cut to fit. We highly recommend it.
