Worst experience ever!. I am not one to complain, but I really feel that in my heart other brides should be aware of my experience, so they do not end up in the same boat as me.

I went to Donna B's Bakery for my wedding cake. I ordered a specific cake topper, they agreed to make it and we negotiated a price. In addition, I ordered butter cream frosting, and told the lady at the counter that I absolutely hated whipped cream frosting.

Two days before my wedding I received a call from Donna. She was calling to tell me that they would not be able to make the cake topper because it would take at least a week to make. My response, "why did you not start a week ago then?" "My wedding is two days away!"

After talking for a few minutes she agreed to make the cake topper. Then she said she couldn't. Then she said she would. It was absolutely confusing. Finally I interrupted her, crying at this point, and asked her if she was going to make it or not and she said yes.



If she was going to make it, then why did she call me and create all of this stress?

Here is where it gets bad! My cake had whipped cream frosting on it after I specifically told her I hated it. With all of the stress she created I actually cried during the cake cutting at my wedding.

In my opinion Donna was not professional and expressed poor business edict.

This was really sad because her cookies and cakes are really good.

The Most Amazing Bakery in Orange County!!!!!. This is my new favorite bakery in Orange County. I used to have to travel from San Juan Cap all the way to French's Bakery in Costa Mesa, but not anymore! I stopped by to taste the double dipped brownies (TO DIE FOR!!) for our holiday party. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. They made sure I tasted everything to help make my decision easier. The cupcakes, cookies, cakes, pies are all just extra special. You will NEVER buy another cake from the Grocery store. You absolutely have to go check it out!!!! I decided on a 1/4 sheet of brownie bites (almond/peppermint/cherry m&m), the double dipped brownies with raspberry and pb mouse (2 diff types) and the lemon mini-cupcakes.
