Superb customer service. The staff was extremely friendly from the get-go, with sincere smiles and patience as I ask for specific things I want with my meal. Their pineapple rice is AMAZING.. and I'm extremely picky about that particular dish. Pineapple rice varies greatly between thai restaurants and I must say that theirs is definately on top.

Truly Amazing. I've eaten way more than my fair share of Thai food and this place is one of the best. Each of the dishes we ordered had a unique taste, and were all excellent. In particular was a scallop and shrimp panang with avocado(!). Go there soon because it looks like it's getting very popular with the locals.

best thai in SC. I agree with the assessment of "diamond in the rough". This unassuming restaurant has a large, enticing menu, including a 2-page vegetarian section. The staff is friendly and attentive. I love their Golden Vegetable Curry, Pad Thai, Drunken noodles, and everything else I've tried.

Fabulous. Mongkut is simply the best Thai food restaurant around. The price is right, portions large, and more importantly everything is fresh and tastes great. I cannot say enough about this little diamond in the rough.
