Hate these places that dumb everything down. This place has a bad rep on the peninsula and they deserve it. Lots better choices for vets.

Wonderful staff, excellent service!. My dog had a large bump the size of a golf ball on her stomach. I took her to see Dr. Earl and was very upset as I thought it would be something incurable. Dr. Earl was very caring and compasionate, and did emergency surgery. My dog had a hernia and had some tears in her abdomen. He was able to take care of everything, and I was relieved that there were no tumors. Three days later, she is doing great! What a wonderful doctor and staff!

Nothing but amazing service. Im not sure what the bad reviewer under me experienced. But I have never had anything but amazing service at Peninsula animal hospital. I take my pets there regularly because the Dr there is one of the only ones I know that actually spend the time to sit with me and explain everything they are going to do and why (plus there's never any pressure to go through with anything I dont agree with). The staff has always been super-friendly and always explained my options to me, and different things I could try, and I never once felt rushed or pushed aside so that they could close. Actually on mutliple occasions, they've stayed late for me so I could pick up my pets, and they help me out to my car with everything. Even when my dog got really sick, I called in and they took me within the hour and took care of him till he was better than ever. They even referenced me to the local emergency clinic in case anything happened when they were closed, I had someone I could take my dog too. They've always answered all my questions, and really made me feel like I was a personal friend and cared for my pets like they were their own!

Honestly, Peninsula Animal Hospital is the best!

Worst Vet I ever met---BEWARE!!!!. They kick your sick pet out at closing before a weekend after you pay. I had to take my pet somewhere else even though he couldn't walk. He was very sick and would have died if a "real" vet hadn't taken over. Never consider taking your sick pet to this quack!!!!!!! I am filing a complaint with the Vet Board!!!!!!

Fantastic and compassionate vet. Dr. Saad is a fantastic vet.

I own a small ranch in South Orange County and am lucky enough to have 8 wonderful dogs playing on my property. With 8 dogs and the mischief they get into, Dr. Fred Saad has been a valuble extention of the family. Fred has handled household emergencies ranging from puppies eating socks to removing an injured eye from my 7 year old Shepherd. Fred has always taken the time to sit and explain all options available before any procedure. Last year I was in Arizona on a business trip when I recieved word from home that our oldest dog had reached the point that he needed be put to sleep. I started the four hour drive home to California at four o'clock knowing I would get in well after Dr. Freds closing time. After once again discussing all options and even having him speak with my wife, Fred assured me he would keep the hospital open and staffed so that my dog would not suffer through the night. Fred sets the bar for care and profesionalism. I consider myself lucky to have found him and owe my animals good health to his care.

A LOVING Veterinarian that truly cares!. I recently had the unfortunate circumstance of coming home to my puppy Chihuahua where she had vomitted profusely and was gasping for breathe. I called Peninsula Hopsital and spoke to the Vet directly since it was after business hours, and he explained to me exactly what to do on the phone and kept me composed. , He told me that he will stay at the clinic until I get there. During this extremely difficult time the doctor did everything in his power to bring her back but she did not make it. Dr Saad's true empathy showed in his actions as helped set up a private cremation for my pet, Dolce De Leche. I was humbled and flattered when he also sent my family a sympathy card. He is a gentlemen, that truly is a Veterinarian of Compassion.
