DIRTY SILVERWARE = DISGUSTING. The food and service at Macaroni Grill used to be great, but the last several times we have attempted to eat there we noticed dried food on the silverware. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, he said, "Most people don't notice small specks of food like that on silverware so this isn't really a problem." They serve good pasta at a good price, with accompanying salad. Bread is good too. So, the place iis often crowded, with noisy swarming children until 9:00 p.m.
I ordered grilled pork chops and my wife Chicken Sorento.
They were grilled OK, but were drenched in soy sauce and sugar, a la Teriyaki, that is, a poor imitation Teriyaki.
Who wants to eat third-rate Japanese food at an Italian joint?
