Teachers Are Great. Both my daughters (3 and 5) attend Newport Montessori and we love it. The teachers are great, the environment is great. As with all schools you have to find the right fit for you and your family. And this school is the right fit for us. It is highly structured with boundaries for children but the learning is self paced so that kids who can excel can learn as much and focus on major areas of interest. Additionally, it is great with teaching self sufficiency with the kids. The teachers are great with open and honest feedback so we can work together to improve the child's experience based on that child's needs.

Currently Attending. My son and daughter are currently attending the school. They have really blossomed so much thanks to the teachers and assistants at the school. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They all bring different ideas and thoughts to the school, and this helps make it a wonderful Montessori pre-school. I would recommend that a parent looking for a wonderful Montessori school should check it out.

Passionate Teachers. Newport Montessori School is a beautiful environment for babies and young children to spend their days in. The sunlight and happy colors are inviting and nurturing. Years ago my children went to a Montessori school. I know they feel passionately about building a real community for families with young children.

Family Feel. A unique preschool option for working parents. Where else can you find a preschool program in a homey, nurturing environment AND have all your meals taken care of? Our twins have begun their 3rd year at Newport Montessori and we couldn't be happier. The staff is amazing and the school is the very best I have seen. They offer fun enrichment programs. They have a warm caring staff, and nothing like the alternatives in the area with either the big institution feel or the chains. The size of the school is just the right size to keep it interesting for the kids and yet still allow all the kids to all know each other. Newport is definitely a close-knit family feel. We will always treasure it.

Absolute Best. We love it here! We love Newport! My son attended two other downtown day cares/preschools and neither of them compare to NM. The attentive and loving staff, the small classes, the excellent and consistent teachers, the fabulous food, and the welcoming atmosphere all make this the absolute best. I found Newport through a friend whose son attended. I work long hours and was looking for a preschool that was close to my office. The drive is very doable and parking is a breeze.

Love this place. LOVE this place! As a working mom, I'm so comforted with the idea of Newport Montessori caring for and teaching my children! Our oldest attended Newport for 3 years and youngest will be there for4. Biggest selling point for us: amazing director & lead teachers, fun & energetic assistants, tree-covered playground with lots of toys, enriched classes (soccer, tumbling, music), prepared meals & well located. I love the sense of community from staff & families. Seeing how prepared my new kindergartner is for the step into 'school' is such a reward. Love, Love, Love it!

Our Family. Will always be part of our family. Newport Montessori has been an integral part of our family for 6 years, teaching, nurturing, entertaining, and loving our two boys unconditionally. It's a place I always wanted to arrive early for drop off and stay late for pick up. The staff always made a point to have special stories to share about out children, and even when our oldest "graduated" he always wanted to stay and play with his former teachers and director-and they with him- on return visits. What more could you ask for? Cannot recommend enough.

A Gem!. A true gem. We have been at Newport Montessori for over 2 years now and could not be happier with our experience. We chose the school because it's a small school with low ratios and a stable, experienced staff. The top 3 reasons we love the school: 1.) The creative curriculum. 2.) Our director is full of enthusiasm, creating an amazing amount of positive energy for the teachers and the kids; and 3.) Because the school has lunches I don't have to make lunches in the morning and my daughter is exposed to a variety of yummy, healthy foods. Most importantly, though, my daughter is happy and obviously very loved, not just by her teachers by the whole staff.

Encourages participation. Splendid atmosphere for my child. He particularly enjoys the music and arts portion of his day, but is also excelling in his math skills and counting. I feel like the staff cares about the students and encourages parent participation which brings us all closer together.
