CHARGED $1000 FOR A TEETHN CLEANING WITHOUT WARNING!. I went in for a normal teeth cleaning and was in the office for 20 minutes. About a month later, I received a bill for $1000 from Newport Center Dental Group. I called and was informed this was the amount the Dr had put on my chart for a routine dental cleaning. When I called outraged - I was told there was nothing I could do and if I didn't give them a credit card, they would send my account into collections. I asked for documentation of my service and all I was given was a paper with a Dr's note reading the date, service: cleaning, and a total of $1000. Needless to say I paid and will NEVER go back there again.
