I have been a member of this gym for the past 6 years. I love the fact that it is a womens only gym as all of us that come here are here to work out and stay in shape. The staff members are extremely nice and always very helpful! The members are friendly and come in all sizes and shapes :) The gym has up to date equipment, a suuna, yoga and pilates room with regularly scheduled classes, showers and fresh towels are supplied. It's a gym for all fitnesslevels and they have excellent , friendly and knowledgable trainers to help you achieve your work-out goals.
It's worth the higher monthly cost than other gyms as there are no lines to use the equipment, the staff are awesome, members are friendly, it's never crowded and because there are only women working out around you who are all trying to be healthy and get fit.
My personal reason for loving this gym (aside from all of the above reasons) is my trainer Lisa Cotton whom I have worked out with for the past year and a half, she pushes me to do more and work harder each time I see her as I have certain goals and a fttness level I am trying to achieve.
This gym is a step above all the others out there and I would highly recommend it !!!!

Very friendly workout environment!! Everyone who has a hand in this facility is extremely welcoming to any person who has a desire to get fit or just be around a wonderful group of people. All the cardio equipment is brand new and in great condition. They have plenty of free weights and many workout machines for every muscle. They also have a great pilates room that offers personal and group pilates classes. The facilities are very clean and always kept up.
Clean towels are always available and showers for those who want to workout before the grueling work day! Which is great for me. You don't even have to bring anything, they have everything you would need to get ready....even a hair straightener! There is also a nice, quaint sauna to relax and unwind in as well. The personal trainers here are very friendly and encouraging to anyone who is interested in getting in shape. I've been a member of this gym for a few months now and I have been impressed from day one of their facilities.
Its the sort of gym that anyone could join. Those who want a fun, social workout routine with friends to those who are on a mission to lose a few extra pounds this year. So, overall I highly recommend checking out this gym to anyone who is interested in a fun workout setting.

This is a really great gym. I've taken plenty of pilates classes at the froufrou clubs, and nothing compares to the instruction at the athletic club for women. Whether it's group classes or private, I just get more out of my workout there. It's great for an "advanced" session, but the emphasis on correct technique and proper form make it really good for beginners as well. There are a number of excellent personal trainers and a warm atmosphere - including nice, friendly members. I think you'll really enjoy working out there - I would recommend it.

I really enjoy going to this gym, there's a no fuss atmosphere where you get a great workout without the lines, the stares,and the various other stresses of larger gyms. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, you feel as though you could ask everything from workout advice to nutrition tips. They've got all the 'free little extras' that exceed my expectations like fresh oranges, water, towels, magazines, books, qtips, lotion, etc... I'd definitely recommend this gym to other women.
