Haley is great. I've been getting my hair cut by Haley for a two or three years now. She's super nice, always on time (from my experience), and does a fantastic job. The best part is the scalp massage. Haley (I hope I'm spelling that right!) is one of the creative directors (or whatever they call it), so the haircut is rather expensive (just over $100, including a 20% tip), but I think it's well worth it. (Better than paying $400 in Los Angeles!)

Don't waste your time. I called to make an appointment and twice they called me back saying they had to change my appointment time because the stylist had 1) a wedding to do and 2) wasn't going to be in the day of my appointment (which was a Saturday). When I called back the second time they said that she doesn't come in on the weekends! Why was I given two appointments with her on Saturdays when she isn't even scheduled to be in on the weekends? The receptionist gave me the usual "we don't believe in customer service" attitude and just hung up.

Perfect Cut Every Time. I've been going to Tony & Guy since 1999 when I lived in England. The training of the stylists is fantastic, and they never fail to give me a great cut. Sara has been doing my hair in Newport Beach for the past year. She is friendly and I always leave feeling totally hot! It doesn't matter what level of stylist you get. The best cuts I've ever had have been from the trainees. I love Tony & Guy and I love my hair!

Very well-trained Stylists. I have read a few reviews on Toni and Guy, and yes the staff..lets say can be a little bit off and a bit snooty. However I, myself am a stylist and I drive 2 1/2 hours to see a girl that has cut my hair for 7 years, and she is simply one of the best! People go into salons with pictures with very unreasonable expectations on how they want their hair to look. Most people will not listen to what hairstlylists recommend. Every head of hair is different and no one can look exactly like a picture in a magazine.

You want an awesome haircut at this salon? Go see Rhondalyn. Worth every penny and she will give you the best haircut. I have never been dis-pleased in my 7 years of driving ungodly miles just to get a haircut!!!

THIS IS NOT THE TONI & GUY I KNOW!!. Awful!! Paid the rediculously higher price to see an "experienced" colorist & being familiar with T & G in London & Sydney was sure I could get a good result. Wrong!! One of the worst ever & when I expressed cocern was told begrudgingly that if I went home & didn't like it I could callup to see about getting it changed. Went home & decided instead to never visit & Toni & Guy Salon ever again!

Don't waste your money. As a stylist & fan of Toni&Guy products & hairstyles, I expected the best when I came here. I brought a picture(Toni&Guy cut) and right off the stlist tried to talk me out of it. I got my color done and though I have dark blonde hair to begin with(very easy to bleach to platinum w/o damage) My hair was overprocessed and breaking off. Then, when I got my haircut, the girl cut it differently than how I asked, and when I wanted it changed, she got very irritated with me. I left, unhappy, and had to return to get it fixed. I explained in the clearest possible stylist terms what I wanted and again, she got very annoyed and argued about what I was asking. It is NEVER ok for a stylist to argue with their clients. If you are hoping for amazing hair, don't bother with Toni&Guy Newport.

User review by bruin03. So I figure for the price that I am paying for a "Creative director" hair colorist, I would be getting some good service. I actually took pictures in with me and said "I want it like this". Not only did she do something different but when I asked her, very graciously, if she could fix it- she gave me attitude! I was there for a little over 5 hours- talk about knocking out my day! The only person I found worth going there for was my hair stylist, Eric. Great haircut and still in my budget.
