Best healing experience ever!. I just left Spa Gregories after one of the worst weeks in my life and I have to say the staff renewed my outlook on life. I was a bit reluctant booking because of a review I had read, but was shocked at the level of customer service and knowledge about serious conditions and life challenges. I had a therapist that was an oncology-trained therapist; she was so compassionate and healing and has been there for 7years.

The seemingly small space opened up to a very exclusive feeling cocoon that stretched into a cozy waiting area with a clean and comfortable arrangement. The relaxing dim lit space was a nice contrast from the typical white Romanesque feel that most unoriginal spas that I have visited feel like. I was also lucky enough to have a celebrity encounter within the locker room.

I now understand the buzz of this place; HEALING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXCLUSIVE, CARING STAFF.

This is my new favorite spot to receive the healing that I need!

BEST SPA for both relaxation and beauty essentials!. Highly Recommended!! I have been to all 3 Spa Gregorie's locations in Newport Beach, RSM, and more recently their new Del Mar spa - all 3 are amazing! The staff is very helpful and I love the steam room & the ambiance of the quiet room. I recently got the Fassage, the most amazing facial and back massage combo, with Shannon in Newport! My other favorite service is the yummy Arcona Facial!!

PERFECTLY FABULOUS PAMPERING!!!. I have been to larger spas, (much) more expensive spas, and more "famous" spas, but my visit last evening with my daughter to SG beats all of them -- hands-down. Yes, I agree that a tad more space (at check-out, in the locker area, etc.) would be nice, but the attentive and very competent staff and the extremely relaxing environment more than make up for that. After a one hour massage (during which Jen's hands seemed to read my mind about a nanosecond before my thoughts occurred to me that I would like "a bit more pressure here," or "a tad lighter touch there,"), about ten minutes in the steam room, a nice shower with SG's fabuously perfectly chosen products, and a half-hour rest in the gorgeous and completely soul-restoring "quiet room," both of us felt as though we had been away from the stresses of our lives for a week or so.

Contrary to one of the reviews I read here, SG is definitely NOT "over-priced" -- especially considering the degree of pampering that is supplied by the staff. Our experience was so wonderful that I feel like sending out a broadcast email to all of my family members, friends, work associates, and anyone else I can think of to tell them to GET TO SPA GREGORIE'S at their first available opportunity. Really. It was that awesome. I can only think that the person who wrote the scathing review which I read had to have some ulterior motive for doing so (a competitor, maybe???). I can't imagine what ANY spa could do to improve upon the service we received at SG (well...okay...there IS one tiny thing: the attendants who prepare the rooms, pick up the towels, etc. could be a bit more quiet and less intrusive). Thanks to all of you at SG for making our visit at your establishment one of the most relaxing and refreshing experiences I've had in a long while. Brava! Nice job, guys!

Sharon at Salon Gregorie. Sharon over at Salon Gregorie is awesome! Does the best cut/color I've ever had. She's also very personable and fun to talk to, plus she's very quick. A little on the pricey side, but she completely worth it. Best sylist I've ever had and I highly recommend her.

Ritzy haircuttery. The only thing I know about Spa Gregories is that (a) they cut hair really nicely (b) my haircutter lady gave me a free glass of wine. Sweet.

Biggest Rip Off!!!!!!. From the minute I placed my appointment I knew I had made a BIG mistake! If you don't make an appointment 24hrs in advance you have to hold your appointment with a credit card......?! You are charged for a missed appt. or cancelation! I was a little annoyed, but understood, Iguess. Because it is NEWPORT......the posh little town with great spas....Ya right!....I was expecting a lot more. From the second you pull into the parking lot you know it is less than decent. The inside is small and run down and frankly GROSS! The staff is mediocre and the presentation is poor. I only had a bikini wax done, but am sure glad I didn't waste any more money or time there. The lady said she had been waxing for 15yrs. but my dog could have done a better job. I was looking up at a flood light without a cover on it the whole time I was being waxed. So I left blind! And with baby powder all over my nice clothes and legs and pretty much everywhere. Not to mention blue wax stuck all over my bikini area. Because I just wanted to get out of there.....I quickly glanced down to make sure it wasat least even and everything was neat, but to my surprise, once again, it was completely off center and there was a huge patch of hair that she missed!!!!!!!!!! How do these people get jobs!!!!! Anyway, I have been getting bikini waxes for over 10yrs. and have been to so many people, good and bad, but this takes the cake!!!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!! On top of it all the charge for a normal bikini wax was $50!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous for the poor service given there!!!!!!!!! As you can tell I am very upset and can't believe places like that get any buisness.

Deceivingly large and pampering. From the outside, Spa Gregorie's looks small and forgettable, being in a strip mall next to an Irish pub. But once you go inside, you'd be surprised to find a spacious, relaxing atmosphere. The ladies lounge is equipped with delicious robes, a steam room and the highest quality products at your disposal. The quiet room is furnished with the most comfortable chairs and chaise lounges to peacefully relax in while you wait for your treatment. My masseur, Shane, had amazing strong hands that beat the knots out of my back, shoulders and neck, and overall all the personnel were professional and courteous. This spa was a much-needed treat and I cannot wait to return!

Great place with great people. Just wanted to rebuf that terrible review. The BRAZILIAN wax is $50 at spa G (brazilian is where they take off almost all or all of the hair in the nether region) and a regular bikini wax is $30. The staff is great and being a girl with EXTREMELY sensitive skin I have never had a bad wax there. The prices compared to those in the neighborhood are among the lowest for all types of services, so all those that say it is over-priced probably dont visit too many Newport Beach or South County spas. Overall, this spa is a quiet place where you can go and feel like part of the family, with wonderful decor and an amazingly talented staff.

A Wonderful Spa Experience. The best spa experience I've had! Luxurious, but at the same time very homey. Staff was very attentive.

All spa treatments were above & beyond my expectations. I had the "petite experience" which included lunch - YUM! I came away feeling RELAXED & REFRESHED. I guess it didnt hurt that my girlfriend & I had limo service there & back ;0

The only con is the check-in area is just too small. If there is more than 3 people, it's very crowded. And to browse their gift shop, you can't look at anything without being in the way of someone who is trying to check in. It would be great if this area was larger! Even so, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spa! Thank you Spa Gregorie's!!!

Most relaxing & tranqual Day Spa - period.. My wife and I have been going to this spa on a weekly basis for the last 5 years. By far the most relaxing and tranquil day spa weve ever experienced. Its not surprising that they have a very low turnover of staff. I would highly recommend (and continue to do so) Spa Gregories.
