Super Cool Place!.
So being a local in Buena Park I drive up and down Beach Blvd quite a bit and noticed Torch and how cool it looks on the outside (especially at night with all the changing colored lights). Time after time I kept telling myself I'm gonna stop in and check it out - well I finally did!
The entrance way is really cool with a fire torch and waterfall directly straight ahead and a bad ass looking bar to the left with a huge Buddha over looking the bar with flames on each side.
Very upscale looking with a Vegas sort of vibe but most people there were dressed pretty casual so my friends and I felt pretty comfortable.
Torch has a nice selection of microbrews on tap which totally made my day and they have a full bar.
As for the food - it rocks! Tasty and you get a nice size portion for what you pay. Nice mix of Indian food along with Thai, Chinese and Continental choices. The only thing lacking was a kids type menu for my buddy's kids.
Ooooh - you have to try the garlic naan!!!!
The service was great and attentive, our server she was awesome! She even mentioned that they night clubs here on certain nights - so I'll be back for sure!
Check this place out - you won't be disappointed!

1 of my new favorite restaurants. I noticed this place 2 weeks ago when I was at Knotts. It's in the old Ripley's buiding. They have done an amazing job transforming the interior to a beautiful restaurant with a separate room for banquests and such. Anyhow, I had one of their combo plate with steak & chicken. Now, as a pasty white, when I think of Indian food, I think of it as being spicy with lots of curry. Wow, was I in for a treat! This is some of the best tasting steak and chicken I have ever had. Because it has a different taste and many spices, it would be like coparing apple to oranges. But, I would put the taste in the class right next to a Morton's steak. Yeah, it was that good. The best part was that this lunch combo was only $12!!!! I couldn't figure out why there were only 2 families in there until I found out they have only been open about 9 weeks. They definitley deserve more people stoppong in for lunch. They have flat panels to watch your favorite games and a fully loaded bar. Great find!
