Great Experience!.
A month ago was my 18th Birthday and we went to PF Chang's. The food was absolutely delicious and I can honestly say that everyone I invited was raving about it! The drinks were refilled even before you could turn your head to notice you were low. The food came promptly and the waiter was so respectful and patient with me, even though I was nervous to please everyone and probably was not super pleasant to him. He was sweet, the service was great, and the food was to die for (So plentiful and great I had leftovers for breakfast!)

BEWARE!!!!!! AND THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING HERE.
The service was horrible on a sunday afternoon. The host ignored us constantly when we asked how long the wait was. (which ended up being about 2 minutes). I asked the server what the best dish and the restaurant and of course she picked the most expensive thing on the menu, the sea bass. But, I decided to try it anyways since she recommended it just because I wanted to see if she really meant it. Boy was that a mistake. The fish tasted like sandpaper. My boyfriend wanted chow mein and ordered the Pork Chow mein which was ridiculously greasy. I mean the plate was just dripping with oil, and we couldn't even finish it though we tried our hardest. I thought I was going to have a heart attack at the table. Then a month later, I get this e-mail from eat this, not that (geeky I know, but I subscribe to nutritional e-mails) about the 20 worst foods in america. AND PF CHANGS HAD a dish that ranked number 8 in worst foods in america.... GUESS WHAT! it was the PORK LO MEIN! which racks in close to 1900 calories and 127 GRAMS OF FAT! They really don't mess around... I was planning on giving this restaurant a second chance, but after reading that, I will never even think about setting foot in this place again...

No Hot Tea!.
Tea has a high importance in Chinese society and culture. The art of drinking and serving tea plays a very vital cultural role in China. So you would think that you could get hot tea at a Chinese restaurant. Well, think again.
The hot water machine has been broken for the last month and it is undetermined when it will be repaired. It has been over a month! So China’s national drink is not attainable at PF Chang’s in Newport Beach.

This gussied-up chain bustles with singles and families craving Chinese food favorites..
In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.

Disappointed and Displeased.
I used to be a loyal customer of PF Changs in Newport Beach.
I would eat there for dinner twice a week.
Since the manager left a few months ago the facility has greatly deteriorated.
The waiters/waitresses are slow and inexperienced.
The food is never delivered hot and with chinese food the flavors are lost if the food is not hot.
It is disgusting walking into a restaurant and seeing idle dirty tables that are not cleared and cleaned efficiently.
I have friends that have been disappointed also and have sent their dinners back. The concensus is the same.
These matters have been brought to the attention of the new manager and changes have not occured, which is really frustrating.
I do not recommend scheduling an event or entertaining with friends or family there.
I miss the Mongolian Beef and I hope at some point things will turn around, but I am sceptible at this point.
It is not the best dining experience and the charm has been lost.

Horrible location.
I usually looove PF Chang's but was so disappointed in this one. The staff was really snooty and slow, and the food was lukewarm when it wasn't supposed to be. The only good part was the new tea I tried - variety was great.

THE MOST FLAVOURFUL FOOD PERIOD.....
There isn't an all around better restaurant anywhere. Try Changs Spicy Chicken or the Dan Dan noodles or the Mongolian Beef and you'll agree.... The waiters and waitress staff is very attentive. the ambience is cool.

Wonderful food, beatiful restaurant.
I never get tired of this place. The food is very good and the portions are very generous. It gets busy at peak hours so get there early or make a reservation. The service is not that great, but the food makes up for it.
