most courteous collection agency I've heard of-odd!. I recently wrote a check at Crate & Barrel that was returned because, unbeknownst to me, my husband made a withdrawal and didn't record it. We had just moved and never received the notice and the check went to collections. When I finally got the letter from Fedchex, I called immediately and they seemed to really listen and sympathize with me. They didn't make me feel like a loser or thief. I've heard of other horror stories with other collection agencies and I guess I got lucky.
