Incredible Wine Knowledge!

Marc and Louise take the time to understand your wine likes and dislikes and can always recomment the perfect bottle for whatever occassion you need. We belong to their wine club and always receive truly special wines. Their Friday night wine tastings, paired with their incredibly wonderful cheeses and other goodies are the best way to begin the weekend and we've learned so much about the wines offered by attending these events.
- Pros: Selection, food, ambience, friendliness of proprietors.
- Cons: Sometimes a really good "find" has limited availability.

We have been attending wine tastings at La Maison Gourmet for a few years now. Each tasting event is a delicious pairing of wines and cheeses. The hosts, Mark and Louise, are always available to answer questions about food pairings, as well as suggesting particularly extraordinary wines.
Their shop carries beautiful giftware and specialty gourmet items.
We always love to attend their tastings on the patio overlooking the lake.

This place is special. You can not get a better backside, lakeside patio. And you can not get better service. And you do not have to pay alot for any of it. Louise, thank you and I will be back with friends! I can imagine a great event here!
