Irvine >Dave & Buster's
Nice job guys!. love the staff! really fun place..
It's nice to escape the shopping for a minute, and hit a few quick games. It's a nice place to bring the out-of-town visitors - really something for everyone.
The food is surprisingly good, but it's not the most impressive date place. Go here with a group and you'll have a blast!
Super-sized party multiplex for casual diners and serious drinkers who like a joystick with their drumsticks and swizzle sticks..
This massive entertainment complex lures customers in with its arcade, then keeps them there by way of a spacious eatery serving pizza, pasta, burgers and finger food. Classic games like billiards, skeeball and shuffleboard are balanced by electronic counterpoints such as Ms. Pac-Man, Centipede and virtual-reality simulators that re-create an 18-wheeler ride or a Star Trek voyage. Of the two full bars, one comes with a 20-screen videodome designed for armchair quarterbacks.
Horrible service, Awful food, and broken games!. From my experience the service was awful. It took 5 mins just to be greeted by someone. Even worse I had about 5 different servers pass me. Anyways when I finally did get greeted and got my drink I found a fruit fly in it. They took forever to bring me a replacement drink. I didn't even have a manager come by to smooth things over. The food was way below my expectations and trust me my expectations were quite low considering the kind of food they have. Now I consider this place a rip off version of boomers only here all the games are broken and it is way more overpriced! They have the worst system of getting a game attendant you flip on this light switch and just hope one of them notices and comes over to help you. Well if anyone has ever been in a Dave and busters they could imagine how hard it must be for these poor attendants to notice something like this. The game room is way too big to have someone notice a game is broken by a little red light bulb. Plus they have a tricky way of getting you to spend a lot more money on the games without noticing. See most places you put quarters or change in but, at Dave and Busters they charge you 5 dollars just for an empty card then you must put money on the card. Now here is where they really trick you since you are playing with a card and not inserting money each time you play a game you don't realize how much you are really spending. The average game there is about 2 dollars some are more and only the really crappy games are less. If I had to sum this restaurant up I would say that Dave and Busters in Irvine is overpriced, unsanitary, has awful service, and is definitely not worth your time or money.
overpaid denim and falses pretenses..... Wow..... Being asian I have a higher tolerance for the disdainful of my race.... but last night (thursday) happens to be ASIAN NIGHT at DnB at the rectum, (at the Block it's AZN), too many graphic print t's. sagging slim premium denim, i dont know...they just annoy the hell out of me...... ruined my night... last thursday, i was at DnB at the block with the AZN crowd.. and they were less irritating.... i dont know... dont do it...
happy hour and arcades. Dave and Buster's is the adult version of Chuck E. Cheese... WE can embrace our inner child by playing Resident Evil or shooting hoops to score tickets for a grand prize! My grand prize, last time I went, was this adorable mini water filter thingy- it took me many rounds of games to get there. Adults and kids can play together until 10pm, when people have to start showing their ID's. Though I never really ate a meal there, I take full advantage of their $5 cocktails during happy hour.
Play skee ball and drink a beer.. Why would you go anywhere else then Dave and Busters to have fun like playing skee ball or pacman. Dave and Busters is geared towards adults, with two large bars, one mini bar serving only beer and lots of waiters and waitress ready to serve you a drink at a moments notice. The over friendly staff at each of the bars is very helpfull in picking a drink if your not sure what to get or what your in the mood for. And of course the food, the food is awesome, i have never had a bad experience with the food, and have never gotten sick from it. This is the place to be on a friday or saturday night.
EVERYTHING to do in 1 night!!!. Be prepared to be carded after 10, because it's strictly 21+ after that (unless kids are accomplanied by parents) This place is hip! They've got GREAT food, TONS of video games to play (you play for tickets and trade those in for prizes, kind of like how chuck E cheese goes but without all the kids everywhere) a bar, pool tables, and a dining area. There is about one large bar, and another in the back where the games are. Their restrooms are spik and span clean as well! It can be pretty pricey here (meal ranges from $9.00 +), but it's a great place to have dinner with a bunch of friends. The dining area could be a romantic spot for a dinner of 2 as well. Even though this place could be loud, I think that it provides more than the usual restaurant in just 1 spot!
