This salon straight-up rocks!. I discovered this salon after moving to back to OC a year ago. Initially, I went because of the Aveda company -which has great earthy products that smell great and are awesome quality. There I met Amanda, my amazing stylist, who has awesome experience and great artistic abilities. I have a platinum pixie-cut (yes OK, platinum bleach is not earthy but that's my choice). It's a high-maintenance style because of the color and the shape...just saying that to give perspective on the skill-level of the staff, because I am always getting compliments on this cut ... due to the fact that Amanda just rocks at her craft! Previously I was a stylist-hopper, and now there is no way I'm going elsewhere unless I'm clubbed and dragged! Overall, the Aveda Mode Salon has a chic interior with great smells, hip staff, and really tasty tea. They really cater to their clientele to make sure you are comfortable and feel welcomed. After a year of going there, I feel more like I'm hanging out there than anything else... and I always look forward to my appointments. I would be really surprised to meet someone who didn't like it, and then I'd still wonder what was going on with them to make them feel that way... honestly, I'm really shocked at the other comment here but, hey, I would love to post good feedback here because I can attest to my own great experiences. Thanks Aveda Mode, Amanda, & the rest of the crew!!

Never again! Bad experience!. Wow, I thought I had been to bad Salons but this one should win an Academy Award for worst of show. Not only was the color and cut bad, but the stylist actually asked for my number! Bad customer practices. To top it all off the assistant was a rude to me and when I told the manager, she gave me a ton of excuses and attitude. How did the owner ever hire this lady? I will tell everyone not to go here.

PS. Nice looking salon though but the music is way too loud!
