Kitchen counter tops take FOREVER!. Kitchen Counter Tops

I am currently in the process of get new counter tops installed through Lowes. I made the first payment for measure on March 19th. Additionally, I made a 100% deposit based on the understanding it would move things faster.

Originally they told me 10 to 14 days to install. The soonest I can get them to finish will be April 11th. The process has taken longer than originally quoted (regardless of how you count days).

It is very unfortunate since everyone I have worked with at Lowes has been very friendly.

If your project is time sensitive you will be much better off not going through Lowes and remove them from the equation.

Note -- Lowes uses outside contractors for install work. In the past I was okay with paying a premium since they guarantee quality of work performed.
