Awesome food and Happy Hour. I came here after work one day and was totally blown away! We were greeted with super friendly and helpful service the whole time, we even spoke with the owner. The server gave an awesome recommendation on "The Prisoner" Zinfandel and it is now one of my favorite new wines, I literally savored every sip. My friend and I had the grilled artichoke and Cheese Plate with three different cheeses which were also recommended by our server. The food was amazing! Some of the most tasty cheeses and it was served with the best honey ever. I was in wine and cheese heaven! So after my second glass of wine we decided why stop here since the food was so amazing and my friend kept talking about the burger being so good, we decided to split one and she was right it was so flavorful and juicy. I can not wait to go back very soon and try other things there. Makes me want to move from L.A. to the OC just so I can go here more often! Oh, almost forgot the best part you get all of these great things for Happy Hour prices, truly best place in OC!

THE Most Unbelievable Happy Hour. As soon as you walk through the doors, you feel the ambiance. The staff is extremely polite and helpful... I have been to 3 happy hours now and the menu keeps getting better. The hamburger is one of the best that I have ever had and I typically don't eat hamburgers. There is an extensive drink menu (which is 50% off for happy hour). This is a must for Newport locals as well as out-of-towners.

Cool hangout.. Dinner spot.. We walked in without a reservation & sat at a cool table at the bar. Great food.. Fun place. Excellent date spot!

GREAT for Happy Hour or Anytime!. Great/unique food and drinks for a good price. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I definitely plan to go back often!

I give A Restaurant an A+!. The food at A Restaurant exceeded my expectations! I especially love the appetizers! I am also very impressed with the wine selection and great cocktails. The Pear martini is to die for!!! You can't find a better happy hour around, the price is right and the drinks are always strong!

A+ A Restaurant!. My friend and I stopped into A Restaurant for Happy Hour after work. I love the Bar, it is dark and cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The Flatbread is WONDERFUL! A must! Great Food, Great Wine, Great Service. I am coming back and bringing my boyfriend for dinner, can't wait!!!

Love A's!!. My friend and I have been to A's a few times after work for Happy Hour, and we were so pleased with the great service, the food, the cocktails, everything! The flat bread is killer, must try it! This is definitely a place I will be coming back to!

Trying Too Hard to be on the A-list. I thought it very pretentious with very little substance. We had a family birthday here, with 5 people. The waiter was overbearing and snooty and the food recommendations were lacking. Have not and will not be back. Way overpriced for quality.

Great restaurant & market. I love this place! My husband and I just moved to the area and stumbled across the market one day riding our bikes to the beach. A's Market is so cute and the bread and pastries are so good and fresh. They also have great sandwiches in the market and a wide variety of other goodies to choose from. The restaurant has great food and the happy hour is a MUST. If you go on a Monday they have martini's for $5. I would recommend A's to anyone looking for a great bite and great happy hour.

GREAT HAPPY HOUR. This restaurant has amazing happy hour and food. I live in the area and have driven by this restaurant many times but never stopped in. I finally decided to stop in and check this place out, I'm so glad I did. They have the best happy hour and it's so reasonable. I bought two drinks and my tab with tax was $11 and change. I've been back twice and the second time I ordered a drink and food off the happy hour menu, OMG the food was delish! I'm glad I found a new local spot to hang out and grab a drink and food with some friends.
