Poor Communication Poor Service

A week ago had consultation appt. with Dr. Julie Kim (waited for 35 days for this appt. calling daily to see if there were any cancellations as time was of the essence). Day of appt, showed up on time to find out she needed to deliver a baby. Not happy but, I understand. Finally got in to see Dr. Kim and not even 3 minutes later, there was someone banging on the door telling her she needed to go to another procedure. My consult appt. was rushed. Needed to have the procedure done asap as my health is at risk. Showed up for my appt. on time and on Zanax and Percoset (medications I was told to take 1 hour prior to procedure and that I horribly hate to take as I do not care for much medicine in my body). I was brought in to Dr. Kims office at 3:25, told that it would be a little bit as the procedure room was being utilized. Dr. Kim comes in about 3:30 to tell me she was canceling my appt. My husband closed his practice at 2pm in order to take care of our children and my friend drove from Riverside to take me to my appt. This office has poor communication skills amongst each other and Dr. Kim is so busy that she should consider closing her practice in order to give adequate attention to her current patients.

hard to deal with and very disorganized

this office is so hard to deal with. it's very disorganized and they're extremely stressful to deal with. they keep rescheduling my appointments the last minute. one time, i was already there for my appointment, had to wait for an extremely long time for them to take me in, after an hour of waiting, they finally called me in. when i got there, it turns out, my obgyn, had a scheduled operation. it wasn't even an emergency, so it means it was a scheduling error on their end. the doctor saw me for a minute or two, then asked me to come back to continue with my check up. the admin had the nerve to charge me for co-pay when they were the ones who made the scheduling error. my obgyn was ok, but the admins there are just a pain to deal with. they don't care about the patients. it's just a job for them. i really like my obgyn, but i hate having to deal with their admins. i'll find a new doctor soon.
