One Time and You'll be Hooked!. If you like sushi, you will love this place. Kotobuki Sushi is like no other. We've been enjoying this experience for well over 12 years and we tell everyone who thinks they have the "best sushi bar" to try Kotobuki before they make that proclamation. Not only is the sushi elegant and supreme in taste, presentation and quality but Tatsu and Hiro are truly dedicated to serving you like as if you were their only guest! Go and simply ask them to serve you and you will not be disappointed. The sushi is ultra fresh and the tastes are simple yet SUBLIME. Don't fool yourself thinking you have tasted the best in sushi until you try Kotobuki!!!!

Just one word: WOW!. I travel a lot for work and many times rely on the recommendations of whatever hotel I am staying at for good local food. The Marriott sent me to Kotobuki and, I must say, it was some of the best sushi I have ever had!

They don't really have menus, but rather just tell the chef what you like and don't like and he will create multiple amazing dishes with the freshest ingredients of the day!

Highly recommended!

Amazing Experience!!!. My husband and I love this place. We've had dinner there several times and have never been disappointed. Hiro and Tatsu are very talented chefs and are both very entertaining. I definitely recommend sitting at the sushi bar because being entertained by Hiro and Tatsu is half of the experience. The other half is the amazing sushi. I love sushi and try out different places as much as possible, however this is by far the best place I've ever been for sushi. Dinner there can be a little on the pricey side, but it is not outrageous by any means and is definitely worth it.

Awesome sushi, awesome staff!. I've been going to Kotobuki for years. The staff is pleasant and the sushi is dynamite! It can be very hard to get a seat at lunch and dinner but the wait is worth it. The menu is standard Japanese cuisine but it's the sushi that keeps me coming back. That and the warm and personable staff.

Best sushi in OC!. I've been a patron of Kotobuki for well over 10 years but still try other sushi bars to compare. I continue to be impressed with Kotobuki's freshness and Hiro's and Tatsu's ability to make each bite melt in your mouth! We always choose "omakase" and let them prepare their recommended dishes. Each serving is a palet-cleansing compliment to the last and my compliments to Hiro and Tatsu! You never disappoint me or any of the guests if frequently bring and quickly become their favorite too!

Best Chef Ever. Sam is a Master Sushi Chef with a bright smile. Ask him to make some of his best sushi and he will take you on a course meal that is to die for.

The sushi is always done in his style and full of flavor. Truly one of the best Sushi places in America.

Catch this Sushi!!. I've been to all of the Sushi restaurants in Orange County, and this could be the best... in the top 3 for sure! Put your trust in Hiro, the owner, for truly fresh, innovative sushi. Get there early as the wait can be brutal, but after eating so many great tasting pieces, who can complain!
