Rehab without DUMB $#lT !. Rehab without DUMB S#lT and it worked . I had been to different rehabs in the past without success. Often it was just an endurance contest waiting to "get out". No one used that phrase "getting out" to describe leaving here. One past rehab I went to said I had a chemical imbalance in my brain with no TEST ! for it and l 'need' some mental zombie pills to be sober, no kidding ! or that all my drinking was because I was "dishonest" or didn't make my bed perfect in the morning, What ?!! I heard that at places of the past also.

At S.R for the first time I had caring professional counselors with MODERN information on alcoholism and addiction to teach me how to live sober and I actualy like being sober, Thankyou Spencer Recovery !

Luring with other names. Run a search for rehab facilities and you'll find sites for executive rehab and for party drugs rehab but they'll lead you right to Spencer Recovery Centers again! That's probably because too many of us know "Spencer" and CRINGE at the thought of sending another loved one there at a high cost for poor treatment.

I gotta laugh at these 5-star reviews. Spencer probably wouldn't pay them to do it - he's too cheap. At least some of them can't be kosher. Maybe the staff writes them or gets other people to write them.

Be forewarned - the place is an expensive joke.

I've gotten my life back. The good thing about Spencer Recovery is getting to know my inner self. In recovery you get to make new friends. In recovery I’ve gotten my life back

The terrible reviews are right. There used to be a bunch of deservedly terrible reviews for Spencer but now those are gone and all these great reviews are here driving Spencer's rating up and up?! ROFL! That's pretty funny, except for anyone who gets fooled by it and spends money there. Chris Spencer is this greedy old miser who seems to be surrounded by young gay guys 'cuz they're young gay guys. I've seen women working for him too but they seem to be the pack animals. That's my straight impression: it's a weird place that wants A LOT of money from you. There are other treatment places in the area that care much less about money and much more about your recovery. If you look at Spencer for treatment, move on and keep looking.

In a good place. I’m doing really good today. I can get up and appreciate what I have which is hope for the future. I’m in a really good place now. I’ve been through programs before and I was willing this time. I’m extremely grateful for the gift of Spencer Recovery.

Spencer Rocks!. This is my second time getting sober. I had tried before but I was more willing this time. I had a great counselor that had a great talk with me that made me just try. This time it just clicked for me at Spencer.

Loving life!. I have 43 days sobriety. I have a very fulfilling life now like I did before I did drugs. I never thought I could be experiencing the happiness that I am.

Stay away!. In my time there I saw people have their money and property stolen. Counslors share sensitive information, patients sleeping with each other and several other inappropriate acts as well as unethical behavior by staff. Spencer the owner sponcered my brother, he died of alcoholism. Enter at your own risk.

A staff that cares. Words cannot express how impressed I was with Spencer Recovery Centers. It’s abundantly clear that the staff truly cares about the patient’s recovery.
