Quaint garden cottages smack dab in an artistic beachfront enclave..
The Scene
Set on a bluff above the Pacific, this collection of quaint Spanish casitas offers an unusual (in a good way) B&B experience in one of Southern California's most artsy enclaves. The heated outdoor swimming pool and pleasant outdoor seating area--for reading or sunbathing, depending on your preference--are tucked into picturesque landscaped gardens just steps from the upscale shops and restaurants of perennial seaside favorite Laguna Beach.
The Details
The 21 pet-friendly, individually decorated suites and cottages feature spacious whirlpool bathtubs, authentic Mexican tiles and wood-burning fireplaces to warm the sea chill in the air. Yes, this is SoCal, but you're right on the ocean, and the nights can get deliciously cold. Artifacts from Mexico fill each room with a sense of folksy sophistication, while small touches like high-quality linens and scented candles add to the coziness and comfort.

Thanks for a great anniversary!.
I have been raving about our wonderful stay at Casa Laguna. What a lovely, enchanting, soothing, relaxing, magical place.
The attention to detail was appreciated; the deliciously comfortable pillow-top bed, the bottled water in the room, the little amenities in the bathroom... sun-screen, lotion, soaps, even toilet paper tied with a strand of rafia... and the luxurious robes! I slept in mine. The CD player and the DVD player with your collection of classic movies, was appreciated. We loved the books, particularly the ones regarding the history of California. It was so relaxing to pick up a book in front of the fire in the mission house. Roger was gracious, helpful, and very friendly and understanding.
From the antiques, beamed ceilings, tiles, white wrought iron tables and chairs, brilliantly colored flowers everywhere...including the bowls of tulips... the blue of the ocean, I couldn't drink in enough of it.
