My all time best review!!. This is with out a doubt the best review I have ever left for any resturant!! This little place was sensational!! I had heard of their reputation from a number of people and so my new(!) girlfriend and I decided to give it a try. As we walked up to the building we could smell the incredible aroma of the food from the kitchen and even heard one of the staff members singing in Italian. My GF said, "If it's as good as it smells and sounds, we're in for a treat!" It was!!

It's an old house that was made into an Italian type villa and the first thing that we noticed as we walked in was the decor. Very warm colors and INCREDIBLY ROMANTIC! We were promptly seated with a wonderful table by the fireplace. Exquisite!. The General Manager came over and introduced himself (very impressive) and we were soon served their phenomenal home made bread and tapinade spread. Wonderful and as addictive as we were told it would be. Our server, Fernando, a very handsome waiter who was oh-so-knowledgeable about Ti amo's faire, explained the mouth watering specials. We enjoyed two of the house martinis ( Atomic Swings! Icy blue and oh so tasty!!) and started with a Scampi Sambuca appetizer. Melt in your mouth wonderful. MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH WONDERFUL!! We then shared a Pear Salad which was a delight. Now, on to the main course. The GF had the flat iron Pork special. My choice was Chilean SeaBass on a flaming cedar plank. Both were incredible combinations of flavor. The Sea Bass was as tender as could be and the best fish I have ever had! We shared our meals with each other. A sign that we've hit gold in a restaurant! We were very full but couldn't resist Fernando's description of the Bread Pudding so we (over) indulged and loved it!!! Two complimentary amaretto drinks form the manager at the end of our meal made the perfect cap to this fantastic evening.

This was just an over all wonderful experience from start to finish! We loved the food (who wouldn't?) but as wonderful was everything else that accompanied the meal. The service, the staff, the ambiance. The food is definitely fine dining quality but we felt as though we had come over to someone's house for dinner due to the fact that we were given so much TLC. A very relaxed atmosphere. It was wonderful! The cost factor was EXTREMELY REASONABLE and their wine list had the best prices in Laguna, bar none!! The manager told us that Ti Amo's philosophy is to give the customer an incredible dining experience from start to finish. They did!! AAAAAA+++++

A Mouth Pleasing Delight!!. I'd wanted to try this place for years and finally went in for a birthday dinner with my wife. It was really a wonderful experience! I can be very picky about my Italian cuisine but I must say my palate was constantly stimulated by the food here. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and the waiter even guided me to a less expensive bottle of wine than the one I'd ordered as he felt I'd be happier with it. (I was!) The best word I can think of to describe Ti Amo is " Unique " ! A terrific blend of food, service an atmosphere. I just wish we hadn't waited so ling to go in!!

An Incredible Find!!!. I was going on a first date with a girl I really liked and heard this was the perfect restaurant. It could not have been better! Everyone there was so friendly. The hostesses were nice enough to seat us in a romantic corner when they heard it was a special night. Our waiter (Joe) was very knowlegable and helpful in our wine and dinner selection and the food was OUTSTANDING. We both felt as though we were being spoiled by the very attentive staff. We stayed much longer than we had intended but we were having such a good time that we just didn't want to leave. Very Highly Recommended!! AAAA++++

Even though it is top quality, the prices are quite reasonable.. This is one of those fun neighborhoody type Italian restaurants that is particularly nice for both small and large parties. Even though it is top quality, the prices are quite reasonable. I think it must be an old house and has five different dining rooms on several levels. Because of that there are many tables that have quite a romantic feel because they seemingly away from the others.

It feels like one of those old romantic neighborhood Italian places rather than modern trendy type joint. You have to determine what works for you.

Overpriced, Average food, Poor Service. I took my date and a couple friends to dinner last Friday (9/19/08) around 9:30pm. My date and I ordered the recommended house specials; Sea Bass & Ribeye, both of which were average at best. My date commented to the waiter that the meat was "fatty", he just smiled and apologized. I've had better fish & steak dishes at restaurant chains for half the cost. Definitely not worth the $30 & $45 I paid for them. We ordered a bottle of Syrah; my date/ friends were not impressed with the flavor (I'm not a wine drinker). They told me that the bottle of Syrah I'd brought over earlier ($15 @ BevMo) was much better; my date and friends enjoyed a glass of wine before going to dinner.

Valet parking was horrible. I practically parked my own car and had to walk up the incline to the front door. We stayed at the restaurant almost until closing and the valet handed me my car key at the table, then wanted a tip (I refused). When I got in my car, all of the controls had been tampered with and/or turned off. I drive a 2008 Infiniti M45 and the controls are automatic. All the valet needs to do is park the car and set the alarm.

The restaurant had a decent atmosphere but seating was crowded. My party of 4 sat very close to a party of 2 who were clearly on a date and they had no privacy whatsoever. The best thing about the restaurant is the printed menu which is mounted on a hard surface simulating a Mediterranean Stone/Slab. I will not eat at Ti Amo again and would not recommend this restaurant. After paying the $210 bill, I felt cheated.
