Mediocre food and BAD service....
As a business owner and a "secret shopper" for many other restaurants, I have certain expectations for the establishments I choose to go into...Dizz's As Is DOES NO
T even meet the expectations I have of TACO BELL...and their price point is MUCH HIGHER!!! DO NOT waste your money...there are MANY other places that will GLADLY take your cash in exchange for MUCH BETTER food and service!!

Awesome.
Dizz's now takes reservations, and is an amazing restaurant with continental fare and a great wine list. Try the duck.

Arrive Early!.
Since Dizz's doesn't take reservations, you must arrive early. Relax at the bar and have a drink before the dinner seating begins.
Intimate setting, unique menu presentation, outstanding food and service!

Eclectic, arty and ultra-charming, Dizz's defines Laguna..
The Scene
The dimly lit, quaint, shingled house filled with '20s and '30s antiques provides the perfect setting for regulars returning on special occasions. Pictures of Hollywood starlets, especially Marilyn Monroe, decorate the walls. Tables are small, and the atmosphere intimate.
The Food
Light fish with savory sauces; expertly prepared, marinated meats and extra touches make Dizz's a cut above the rest. Unsolicited shots of vermouth and garlic toast dressed with chicken and pork pâté arrive compliments of the house. Generous entree portions, accompanied by exquisitely dressed salad or rich soup, make up for mediocre appetizers -- littleneck clams are undercooked, with a few shells still sealed shut. Delicate tilapia smothered in rich, lemon butter cream bursts with flavor, and the rack of lamb has a distinctive, peppercorn sauce; both are served alongside buttery vegetables and lackluster mashed potatoes. For a sweet finish, try the white chocolate praline mousse topped with a mountain of whipped cream.
