Best Sushi and Japanese food in Hutington Beach. Sushi Ya is very comfortable family style restaurant with excellent tasting food. I go there all the time when I have friends or relatives over and need a nice but inexpensive dinner. Their rolls are just incredible and you never get tired of them. Their sushi and sashimi are always fresh. My favorite is Salmon, Uni (sea urchin), and Uangi (fresh water eel). Their Jalapeno popper is very different from typical poppers you get from other restaurants and is something you must try once. It's full of cream cheese and crab meat with not too much sauce.
