Tips for Memorial Prompt Care

Works great for me. High recommendation.. I and my family use Memorial Prompt Care as our primary provider. We mainly use the location at Beach Blvd although we use the other locations as needed. It is possible to use the same doctor with each visit so if my visit is routine I use the doctor I am most familiar with. However, if their schedule does not work for me I use any of the other doctors. I feel I receive excellent care and if they feel I need to see a specialist they are very good with their referrals. The convenience and availability is something that is very easy to get used to. I no longer worry about an on call physician as before when I dealt with a private physician as I have done most of my life. My records are always accessible to other doctors at Promptcare which gives me a sense of security. I have been happy with every doctor that has seen me. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Please Avoid this Place!. Avoid this place!! Please!

First of all they did not check my insurance to see if my provider covered my bill. They just took me in and handed me a $230 bill.

The manager was extremely rude to me. The receptionist ladies were awful!!!

I came in with chest pains. And I wanted to be treated like a patient. But No!! I left MEMORIAL PROMPT CARE feeling awful. I was treated inappropriately.

Please Take my advice and don't go to this Prompt Care. Call you insurance first. Ask them for places!

Also my dad works at Long Beach Memorial and he said they should of checked my insurance before they took me. He said they were double dipping.

Bad service, bad attitude, terrible billing. First and foremost, keep in mind this place is a for profit business and a poorly run one at that. We've had the misfortune of going here a couple times because they were the only place open. After long waits, below average help from the nurses/doctors, a receptionist who seemed like she'd rather be anywhere but at work, we get hit with a bill that has charges that were not explained up front.

Avoid this place at all costs. I can't imagine any doctor being proud to be associated with this business.

No appt needed and good health care too.. I use this place as my primary health care provider. They are as good as any doctor I've been too, maybe better. I like that I can see a doctor, usually my regular doctor, when I need one. I don't have to wait two hours and they take good care of me. They follow up on my care and if I need lab work they make sure I get in there to get it done. They have helped me with various health problems and seem to know how to handle it all. I appreciate there efficiency. I like the prompt care on Adams Ave. best in Huntington Beach just because I find that office bigger and it's newer. But, they are all good offices. I'd go to any of them. Thanks.
