Do not go here!!!. HBPD must be putting the pressure on this place and locals will call on you so they can leave (police also sit across Warner in the theater parking lot). My wife and I had a nightmare experience and we are never going back.

Will not return. After I read the reviews my husband & I decided to check out Baja Willies on a Thursday night. I don't know where to begin...

First of all, it took an unusually long time to get a menu, especially since there were only 3 other tables with customers in the restaurant. My margarita was very tasty, but had zero tequila, even when I sent it back asking for a little more tequila, it arrived the same. My husband's "Petron" shot was so bad that he poured it into his soda.

The guacamole looked like it had come out of a can & was so salty that we had to send it back...the salsa was not much better. We continued to strain our necks to locate our server since we had not seen her in awhile and had not been served. When our food finally arrived we found that we could not eat it.....even the rice had too much salt in it & my husband's taco was burned.

When we got our check we were surprised that the guacamole that we had returned was still on it, there were different prices for the same item and we were charged more for another item. I read reviews from others that said that they too had issues with their checks.

Orange County has some wonderful Mexican Restaurants.....this is NOT one of them.....

Casual atmosphere and good food. Their posole is absolutely fantastic! Very casual dining and friendly, conversational servers. They have a wonderful happy hour too! They have really good chips and salsa and a pretty large menu with uncommon appetizers. They have big schooners of beer, that makes my husband extremely happy and good margaritas to keep me happy! Their portions are large so you feel you get your money's worth. If you're a smoker, you can even sit outside in their covered patio and there is a smoking section. Don't find that too often anymore. Large restaurant excellent for large groups. If you're in the area and want a quick sit down for some tasty Mexican food, Baja Willie's is just the place! There is even a Super Saver movie theater across the street, make it your #1 spot for date night!
