i'm so lucky. This was my first Vietnamese restaurant
by easy22
I loved sitting outside. I loved the way the waiter took a lot of time with me since I was "virgin" to Vietnamese food and the way he explained how to eat it once it arrived. I had the rare beef pho and my partner had the filet mignon and rice. the sauce on the beef was outstanding. The reason we tried this place was that it is ALWAYS crowded with a line outside of a majority of Vietnamese people, it is in the MOST unfindable location and it's been there 16 years. No way would it have lasted a week if it wasn't good. We will definitely go back.
- Pros: large portions. knowledgeable waiter. excellent taste
- Cons: none that I can think of

Ok, if this was to be your first time enjoying pho, you might feel like you found a gold mine. For myself, I am not easily fooled. The term, "Get what you pay for" definatley applies. I felt as if the pho I was served tasted like it was sitting all night long in a refrigerator, then prewarmed and served to my table. Portion wise was not too bad, but it felt like i had to beg just to get lime and jalapeno. Otherwise, this would be my last choice!!!!
- Pros: Free refills
- Cons: NO BATHROOM

Today was my first visit; I wish I had found this place a few years ago! I highly recommend the beef pho -so good. I had #5 rare, well done, flank, brisket, and something they call "plate rolled": beef and tendon rolled up together and sliced. I'll be back!
- Pros: Beef Pho, Service, Local
- Cons: No Restroom
