Just Another Clueless Agency. Over a twenty year career in several qualified administrative positions, I have used interim services between opportunities. After recently contacting this agency (whom I had successfully worked with several years ago), I found the service philosophy to be undetectable, to the point of discouraging a woman interested in reentering the workforce with tons of varied administrative experiences. The receptionist was vague and at best circumspect about what should be straightforth answers. How do I initiate the interview process for consideration of part-time, full-time and contractual positions? Seems to be a pretty easy question to address since this is the function of such industry. Interspersed with heavy sighs and inconclusive answers, I have decided to work with other agencies. One thing these agencies should keep in mind-- the very people they hire for placements could be contacts for them in the very near future when they work into permanent positions in the companies in which they were placed. Common decency in business etiquette seems beyond their approach in customer service.

Tedious Process to Hire These Folks. This is preliminary, since I have not yet been 'approved' as a customer (the forms are being sent). I had to answer many of the same questions from the Apple Interviewer 2 as I had already given to Apple 1, despite the fact that Apple 2 said she had read all of Apple 1's notes. I explained that my assignment was a very simple "take data from sreadsheet column X and enter it into program window Y".

I was told I could not apeak to the prospective data entry person's referrals, but that Apple had a thorough qualification process. She kept (3 times) asking me what specific questions I wanted answered, even though I told her what I wanted was 1. Accuracy, 2. Reliability, 3. Speed, and with an overall consideration of honesty. "Yes, well what questions would you like answered?" In frustrations I said, "Did they ever not show up for work? Did they need over-the-shoulder supervision? Did they make a lot of mistakes? and other, basic questions. Finally I asked if Apple did not have a list of questions they asked and a record of the answers they received (since they would not let me speak with a referral). "Oh yes, we have that."

Given the simplicity of the description of the job requirements, I was becoming annoyed at being repeatedly asked, "Do you have any specific questions you want us to ask?" At least twice I explained my frustration at having to do what I considered to be Apple's job, i.e., identifying the questions and recording the answers.

Finally Apple 2 said she would send me the qualification contract and start things moving with her team.

Disrepectful. This was my 3rd temp agency interview in 8 yrs and it was the worse experience. The receptionist was nice but not very professional with the phone calls I witnessed as well as when she was setting up my own interview(lots of huffing and puffing and that fake nicness that comes of as even more rude than cursing at you). My rep was demeaning, disrepectful, made me feel inadequate and was completely unhelpful! I was surprised when she gave me her card and it said she was the branch manager. I have 5yrs experience in the field I was looking for employment in and she told me I didnt have very many qualifications or skills. I understand that its rough out there trying to find a job BUT that's why we go to a temp agency bc they are supposed to HELP you revise ur resume and give constructive critisim on how you answered the interview questions to prepare you for interviewing with their client companies. She did do those things but not in a helpful way....more confidence shattering than building! I hear the Tustin location is even worse! Advice: Don't waste your time with this entire company!

Not a good choice. I have been through a few employment agencies and this one was by far the worst.

The enviornment of the office was young relaxed and hip which was okay... (if that suits you)

but the represenative i spoke to downgraded my qualifications and tried to pressure me in to accepting a much lower unliveable wage... whats the point in going through an agency to get a job i could easily get on my own... Anyway idk if the particular girl i had was just trying to desperately gain comission off me or if thats how they teach their associates to treat their clients.

but overall very BAD expierence
