From here, it's easy to explore the coastline often dubbed the "American Riviera." It's set beautifully along the coast, although the area surrounding the park is heavily developed. While there are few natural highlights here other than the ocean, the park sports sensational ocean views.

Features
Tents or trailers-RVs are allowed, but check with the park for campsite length limits and reservation status. Showers and restrooms are available, as is a dump station, but no hookups. The beach is divided: northern end for games, southern end for surfing and fishing. Cook stoves are permitted at campsites and the picnic areas feature grills.…
