This charming B&B is tucked away on a quiet residential side street on a beautiful sea cliff overlooking Dana Point Harbor and the vast blue of the Pacific. Decidedly more New England than Southern California in style, this jewel of a property was designed for romance. Lovers take note of the fireplace and spacious bathroom with spa tub in each room.

The Details
The inn's guest rooms blend fresh California contemporary, cozy French country and stark Cape Cod influences. Rooms feature gingham and floral printed fabrics, wood accents and, of course, white shuttered windows. The innkeepers place a cute teddy bear on each bed, which can be "adopted." There is a fully stocked library, and the verandah offers pleasant neighborhood views and a fresh sea breeze. Wine and hors d'oeuvres are served in the evening. The inn provides health-conscious guests with a fitness center, a rarity for a bed-and-breakfast.
