No Your Fat Mama's Mexican Joint. I'm sorry, but how can anyone write a review and not mention the blackened calamari tacos? There are numerous changing specials and if you cry and plead, they'll sometimes make you an order of tacquitos de cammarones, an incredible concocoction stuffing plump wholes shrimp into rolled red corn tortillas, quick-frying them and serving under lines of guacamole, salsa and cheese. The patio slopes downhill toward the DMV and customers can be downright strange, but pop a Modela Negro beer and soak it up!

Best Mexican food around.
Taco Mesa prepares the best Mexican food in the area. The blackened chicken tacos and burritos are the best. I try to enjoy as many of the daily specials as possible.
They're affordable and authentic. A must for mexican food lovers.
