Overall, I haven't found a better place than Newport Rib Co for baby back ribs. I've tried the baby back ribs at the chain restaurants like Lucille's (because of all the hoopla about their ribs) as well as Texas Lone Star. But so far, none can compare to Newport Rib Co. The ribs were actually juicy yet lean, unlike Lucille's ribs which were good but kind of dry. I tried other meat items on the menu and they were ok. Stick w/ the baby backs - you can't go wrong! The service was good and the ambiance was a little dark and felt kind of 80's to me. But you don't go to a place like this for ambiance - you go there for the best ribs in town!!!
Pros: Great Baby Back Ribs, decent service
Cons: 80's Furniture, Kind of Dark and Gloomy Inside

The rib meat fell off the bone, the sauce was fantastic- fat people were everywhere. A whole horde of them charged the front door as I left the place. I think they make their own sour cream and sweet cream. The cornbread was moist and cakey. I'm a rib fanatic, and this place rocks. You can measure a restaurant by the weight of its clientele- and this place tips the scale.
Pros: Great food, great price, fast service, nearby "by the hour" motel, and full bar.
Cons: Lousy ambience, fat people everywhere.
