Pretty Good
by willtravelforgreatfood
Okay, maybe it isn't fair but once you've eaten at the Montgomery Inn in Cincinnati you’ll have a whole different gauge on what are good ribs, never found anything that comes close. However, the baby backs and St. Louis ribs here were above average, beef were not worth the effort. Tri Tip was good, but then again just about any decent rib place can do this well. It is worth checking out, but for me, I’m going online and having them flown in overnight from the Montgomery Inn.
- Pros: Nice place, good service, good food.
- Cons: Not the Montgomery Inn
If I could rate it lower, I would!

I had to give it a "1" because they don't allow me to rate it lower. The food is mediocre at best and horrendously overpriced. Because this coffee shop style restaurant has been in the neighborhood so long, these people are pompous. It's their way or the highway. If you don't like the way something is cooked "you can take it up with VISA." That quote is straigjht from the owner, Dave! Do yourself a favor and go to Lucille's just down the street. Their food is awesome, the prices are reasonable and it's a cool, fun place. Stay away from Naples Rib! They're on their way out as their reputation is getting around.
- Pros: none
- Cons: food, ambiance, price, attitude
Wonderful eating experience

I would recommend the Newport Rib company to all my friends. Not only do they offer ribs but my favorite is the Prime Rib. The corn bread is to die for. The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get.
