Pretty Good. Okay, maybe it isn't fair but once you've eaten at the Montgomery Inn in Cincinnati you’ll have a whole different gauge on what are good ribs, never found anything that comes close. However, the baby backs and St. Louis ribs here were above average, beef were not worth the effort. Tri Tip was good, but then again just about any decent rib place can do this well. It is worth checking out, but for me, I’m going online and having them flown in overnight from the Montgomery Inn.

If I could rate it lower, I would!. I had to give it a "1" because they don't allow me to rate it lower. The food is mediocre at best and horrendously overpriced. Because this coffee shop style restaurant has been in the neighborhood so long, these people are pompous. It's their way or the highway. If you don't like the way something is cooked "you can take it up with VISA." That quote is straigjht from the owner, Dave! Do yourself a favor and go to Lucille's just down the street. Their food is awesome, the prices are reasonable and it's a cool, fun place. Stay away from Naples Rib! They're on their way out as their reputation is getting around.

Wonderful eating experience. I would recommend the Newport Rib company to all my friends. Not only do they offer ribs but my favorite is the Prime Rib. The corn bread is to die for. The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Best Ribs in Town!. Overall, I haven't found a better place than Newport Rib Co for baby back ribs. I've tried the baby back ribs at the chain restaurants like Lucille's (because of all the hoopla about their ribs) as well as Texas Lone Star. But so far, none can compare to Newport Rib Co. The ribs were actually juicy yet lean, unlike Lucille's ribs which were good but kind of dry. I tried other meat items on the menu and they were ok. Stick w/ the baby backs - you can't go wrong!

The service was good and the ambiance was a little dark and felt kind of 80's to me. But you don't go to a place like this for ambiance - you go there for the best ribs in town!!!

Fat people love it, and so should you. The rib meat fell off the bone, the sauce was fantastic- fat people were everywhere. A whole horde of them charged the front door as I left the place. I think they make their own sour cream and sweet cream. The cornbread was moist and cakey.

I'm a rib fanatic, and this place rocks. You can measure a restaurant by the weight of its clientele- and this place tips the scale.

bEST OF THE bEST. i LOVE IT AT NEWPORT RIB COMPANY. wE GOT TO EAT THERE SO MANY TIMES DURING MY HIGHSCHOOL YEARS BECAUSE I PLAYED FOOTBALL FOR COSTA MESA H.S. IT WAS ARE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED BATTLE FOR THE BELL AND WINNER GOT TO EAT ALL U CAN EAT RIBS THEN SCATTER THEM ON THE LOOSERS FIELD. I STILL GO BACK TO THIS DAY AND KEEP ALL MY BONES SO I CAN SCATTER THEM ON ESTANCIAS FIELD. GREAT SERVICE AND I FEEL A FAMILY STYLE ATMOSPHERE.

REALLY GREAT FAMILY BBQ. OH YOU WILL LOVE THE RIBS HERE! AND THAT ONION BRICK, YUMMY!! BUT THE BBQ PRIMED RIB IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! AND IF YOU LIKE PASTA, TRY THE SPICY BLACKEND CHICKEN PASTA. REALLY NICE CREWS AT ALL LOCATIONS (NEWPORT BEACH & NAPLES) GREAT FOR LARGE GROUPS AND THEY HAVE TAKE OUT, AND THEY CATER.......CAN'T MISS HERE!!

Gross. The ribs are horrible. The ambience needs a lot of improvement. The service was good. The ribs were so dried out I couldn't eat them!
