good burgers and the chicks are hot. Not all the food is good but not a bad spot for a local sports bar and grill.
I love BEN! Married or Single he's a gentle giant. The hospitality is very kind, I couldn't have trusted the new company and I forgot the haters who treated me confoundedly prior to entering this establishment. The drinks smoken and the food is a splurge. No diets here. :) I'll be back because it just kinda beckons me to do that, wish it was more obvious.
worst bar ever. this place is not what you can expect i say save your money and go some where else place is bad people are not nice i can say its the worst service i can or ever will be :(
Worst Experience Ever. This was the worst dining experience I've had in the last 5 years. First there was the ambience- there's nothing wrong with sleazy dive bars, but don't try to pass yourself off as a fine-dining restaurant (with prices to match) if you are indeed the sort of seedy, unclean establishment bikers love and decent people fear. The service was slow and unimpressive, our server was reminiscent of a greasy spoon diner waitress who lost her will to live years ago. Of course she had just enough self esteem left to treat us with a mild disdain. My porterhouse ($33) was overcooked (medium- medium well, not the MR I ordered) and tough enough to be used as the black box material on an airplane, the only thing guaranteed to survive a crash. The mashed potatoes and veggies were pretty good, and my friend enjoyed his lamb. Our other friend ordered an appetizer pizza, which brings me to the best part- the blatantly fraudulent advertising. We had a coupon for a free entree of equal or lesser value with an entree purchase, and they chose to discount the $8 appetizer pizza instead of my friend's $19 lamb entree (which was the only other entree we purchased). When I brought this up in a nice way with the manager, whose tight green T-shirt was engaged in the battle of its life with her ample muffin-top, she told me that was their policy, and became downright rude and bitchy when I persisted in making my point. Even if the pizza was an entree, if the restaurant's policy is to discount the cheapest item on the check instead of the entree of equal or lesser value (as the coupon states), that policy should be mentioned somewhere in the fine print on the coupon to avoid a little thing called False and Misleading Advertising. At the very least one could say that pleasing or even just accomodating the customer falls way below smiling and probably even bathing regularly on the staff's list of priorities.
Avoid this place. Overpriced bar food, average service and mediocre atmosphere combine to make this place an unpleasant experience.
Love Skosh Monahans. I just started going to Skosh Monahans a couple of months ago, and everytime I go I have a great time. I prefer to sit in the bar area because it has 5 TVs, so there is always a game on to watch. In fact, I went there last night, and the night before and had a great time both nights. The food is so delicious, and my server made me feel so welcome, and was so fun...I could eat there every night. The servers all get along great, and help eachtother take care of everyone in the restaurant. It seems all the girls really love their jobs, and they are very good at what they do. To top it off, the owner is always around helping the girls out when it gets busy, so the you can expect the good service to be consistent. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal, a relaxed atmosphere, and a great night out.
Great Service, Great Food, Amazing Atmosphere.. This is one of the best Irish Pubs i have ever been too. When you walk in you automatically feel at home, plus the food is great, and the service is amazing. Our waitress Missy was so attentive and friendly, we never had to wait for a drink, and everyone was served with a smile. I would defiantly recommend Skosh Monahan's to your friends!
Editorial Review. Customers dine on steaks and seafood at this family-friendly neighborhood restaurant turned late night Irish pub.
nice little irish pub!!!. This is a very cozy, very small pub. I went for St. Pattys day- it was fun, a little too much on the wild side for me, but that is just my opinion. But on a positive note, there was good music, and everyone was very very friendly.
Excellent. I have been there on many occasions and the owner Gary is often there. He is a great guy and always makes me feel very comfortable and is very generous.
