HORRIBLE school. My son was 3 when I started him at the Montessori in Mesa Verde (Baker St.). We did our homework and thought it was going to be such a wonderful experience. Were we so very wrong. My husband went to the school to pick up my 3 year old son early one day. He got out of the car and heard screams. When he entered the school the teacher ran out of the class (leaving all of the children themselves) and down the hall screaming ' B's dad is here!' warning the teacher. My husband followed and found the Assist. teacher by herself with my son in a back room, sitting in a small chair over my 3 year old son screaming at the top of her lungs at him to GO TO SLEEP!'. My son was lying on the ground terrified, screaming and crying. My son is now 5 and still remembers his 'bad school'. The Director had no idea what to do about this (hmmm what do you think!!) Unbelievable! Please do not subject your child to this sort of trauma.
