I love Headline Hair....all the stylists are the best...I go to Vanessa and have been for over 8 years. Highly recommend her. Not too many places for an African American to get their hair done easily in Orange County.

Great Haircuts for Years. I've had my hair cut by Glenda for years and I've always been extremely happy. Even though I've moved away from the Costa Mesa area I still come back just for the hair cut.

The salon is friendly and they have no problems when I bring my young daughters along with me (although they always bring cup cakes for Glenda, which I think helps!).

Vanessa - Great cut and color correction. Vanessa took my horribly damaged, poorly colored hair and made it look natural, healthy and shiny again. She did a wonderful job correcting the color from a dark, unnatural color to a lighter color that you wouldn't believe isn't my "natural" color. She knows the importance of a good shampoo and condition (and can tell you the correct way to apply them) and how a stylist's shampoo/conditioning technique affects the haircut. Vanessa spends a lot of time on my hair, not only with the shampoo, but also getting the cut right. She is a great stylist if you have difficult (thick/thin) or damaged hair that requires patience and perfection when cutting it. She is an expert when it comes to color correction and highlighting too.

Ask for Vanessa. I've been going to Headline hair for a long time and have settled on one hairdresser in particular; Vanessa. SHE'S MINE! But seriously, I had moved from Riverside, away from my favorite hairdresser out there, and Vanessa took one look at my hair and, without asking me how I wanted it, reverse engineered it, only she made it better! Great gal. Highly recommended.

Excellent Salon. Henry is the BEST, not only he can cut, color, and style my hair but he is also extremely professional, patient, very focus on his work. I have recommended to many friends and they all luv him!!!

Vanessa is another excellent hair dresser, very friendly, and courteous. Highly recommended.

The salon is clean and relaxing environment, I always enjoy my time there. Hope this helps!

Totally new look!. I have been trying to get a cut that would look good all day for years, but with no luck. A friend suggested Head Line, so I gave them a try. They suggested a totally new look, and what a great idea! All my office mates siad it looks great, and it does all day.

These are very nice people, and their prices are very low considering how talented they are.

Stylish Men's haircuts. I got a great haircut there from a gentleman named Kyle. Very meticulous, all scissors, no shortcuts. Very good stylist. I paid $20 that included before/after shampoo/rinse. I had my mother go there for her haircut, I thought it would be $25 but with all the extra stuff they added on it came to $40. She was disappointed with the price. I would highly recommend this place if they would disclose the price of the extra things, like blowdrying, etc because some customers are cost-conscious. I highly recommend it for guys looking for a stylish cut that speaks volumes more about your character than a clipper cut.

passionate about hair. i also agree. it's so funny the other person who made a review for this place also raved about Henry. my gf wanted to get a hair cut one day and she found this place in the yellow pages. all she did was bring in a picture of the hair style she wanted. my gf has naturally curly hair. the hair style she chose was straight. he spent 1.5 hrs on her hair. he was extremely attentive throughout the entire process. it only costed her 40 bux. i would highly recommened anyone to go to Henry. i also got my hair cut by him after seeing how much he cares about hair.

Great Deal!. There has been only one other person that has cut my hair as well as Henry at Head Line hair. He is a "long hair expert" and I agree. With a wash, cut and blow out, it was only around $35! What a deal! I've already mad my next appointment!
