Discount Textbooks I saved a lot last year. They have a good selection of used textbooks for the classes at OCC. Found most of my books there at 50-60% of the OCC bookstore prices. Unlike the OCC bookstore they might buy back a book not being used next semester if they think they can sell it somewhere else – but you take a real hit. My dad said never to count on the bookstore to buy the book back, if the same book will be used next semester they might. I’m looking at renting books for next semester. I just hate the line to return them and what if I want to write notes in the margins.

My teacher recommend Amazon, or eBays Half webseller or one of the many online booksellers if you plan early enough – but I found it takes 5-10 working days to receive the books. Plan and buy early if you can. Otherwise you can save money here – but there can be lines and clerks that don’t know all that they should (just like the OCC bookstore).

The worse book store ever!. When I called to check if they will buy back a text book I've purchased from them couple of months ago. I needed to know how much they will buy back for. So when I called, it rang & rang. No one pick up and them the message pick up but I can't hear the message. It was breaking up. I couldn't bearly hear the store time and date it is open and close. So called back again and the same thing happen. It was so frustrating and so I went ahead and droved to the store. When I got there, I gave them my text book and they said they couldn't buy my text book. All that work just to find out they not buying back text book that cost me $130 and I just bought it couple months ago. If I'd reach someone over the phone, wouldn't have to drive there.

i rate this bookstore a big "F". I called this textbook store to ask the price of a Spanish text. I called about 6 times and everytime it rang & rang. Then they would pick the phone up and hang up on me. This was very frustrating. Not a good idea to hang up on prospective student buyers. I will not visit this store in the future and would rather spend the extra money it cost for a textbook at the OCC campus. Very RUDE! I only rated this a 1 star because i had to in order to get my review published otherwise this rates 0 stars.

Scammers. One time I went to sell back like 3 different text books. The guy was supposed to give me $80.00 but he only gave me a $20.00 bil and like a five and a few ones or something. I got in the car and noticed that he didn't give me all the money. I marched right back up to the window and demanded that rest of my money. He gave me the rest of the money no questions asked like he knew exactly what he did...........
