Tasty Pizza.
Finally, I found a good pizza place in The OC. I love the pizza here, and the salads are tasty too. My mom tried some pasta dish and it wasn't the greatest, but I see people in here enjoying the pasta every time I go. The pizza is really where it's at though. And the beer on tap. ;-)
Service is always friendly but not over-bearing. We go here at least twice a month.
best pizza in town. best pizza in town and best pizza around great place
OMG!! JUST AS GOOD AS I REMEMBERED!!!. Okay, I first went to Nick's Pizza as a college student at UC Irvine - I haven't been back since 1993 (15 years!), and it's JUST AS GOOD as I remembered - My friend brought in a slice of the BIANCA PIZZA for me to try, and it's INCREDIBLE! It has just the PERFECT combination of cheese, sauce, toppings to make it YUMMY, and the crust is very tasty as well - I've been to A LOT of pizza joints around OC, and this ranks as one of the best! :-)
The Best Pizza in Town!.
We have been ordering at Nicks for so many years, that when I call in my regular Thursday-night pizza order (a large pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, and black olive for $18.05) that they know who it is. (Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!)
I can't say enough about Nick's food and service. When we dine in, a love the butternut squash pasta.
The only thing that would make Nick's better is pizza delivery.
Overrated at best.
My wife and I went to this restaurant and I am not sure why this is rated as good as it is
My wife knows her veal marsala and she mentioned to me that it tasted like stew meat. I had to agree with her. I had their pizza and I would rather eat at round table . it was bland
the service was matter of fact. After we complained we were given credit for one wine which is all that we had. This place has alot to be desired .
Traditional Italian fare comes alive in Costa Mesa. Having been to Italy and coming from a large Italian family (with an Italian mom who cooks every second of the day), I am a little picky when it comes to Italian food. Nicks Pizza is by far my most favorite Italian in Southern California! The atmosphere is very typical of a small family run restaurant you would find in Rome and the portions are the perfect size. When you ask for "house red wine," it is actually has a nice tasting, freshly opened glass taste, as opposed to tasting like one that has been open for weeks which I seem to get a lot. I highly recommed this restaurant to anyone looking for a casual dining experience and a good plate of spaghetti or slice of pizza. We have also celebrated 2 birthdays here and the staff is more than accomodating to larger groups. The only drawback is they are closed on Sunday! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Try the Penne with Vodka sauce or the Linguine w/shrimp along with a simple glass of house red and you will be good to go!
This pizza is so good I punched myself.
and then I punched myself again.
I cannot say enough good stuff about this place. Best pizza in OC.
Italy right down the street from home. Gorgeous italian atmosphere... a pleasant surprise from the storefront exterior. The ingredients are so fresh. We love their sicilian style of pizza making. It's different than anything in the area and I get cravings all the time for this joint. Everything on the menu is delicious. You just can't go wrong.
Good tasting pizza. Nick's Pizza is a good tasting one with a fresh tomato sauce and premium mozzarella. I was very pleased with my order and would go back again. They have No Delivery which really stinks.
Best pizza in Orange county, without a doubt!. One thing that sucks about Orange County is the Pizza selection. I've been searching for great pizza for a long time, and there are only a few places that are GREAT. Nick's Pizza is definitely one of those (others include Luparello's in Huntington Beach, and surprisingly, the new Napa Valley Pizza in Costa Mesa).
