horrible!.
I love Persian food and was so excited to find a restaurant close to my house. I ordered food to go and they threw the lavosh in the plastic bag (not wrapped in foil) with the other food. This caused the lavosh to be dry and crusty by the time I got home. It had broken apart and caused a mess in the bag. The hommous was grainy and flavorless, tabouli was gross and the spicy ground beef kabob was charred and blah! I will never go back!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Food.. Worst Service Ever....
I've been going to Orchid for about 4 months and been telling co-workers how good the place is. Service on the previous 8 trips have been just "okay". Slow bring the water.. never checking on the tables.. etc. But since the food was pretty good, I thought it was still worth it and recommended the place to others.
My last visit to the resteraunt will be my last though... I came in with 10 co-workers with a coupon for $20 off a $100 meal. We gave the coupon to the waiter and proceeded to the buffett. So far.. so good....
After lunch, the waiter brought the check without the discount saying that the discount was not valid for lunch... maybe tell us before we starting to eat? Upon reviewing the coupon ourselves.. which said - "available for dine in or dinner" we went to the manager.
The manager or owner argued with us for over 15 minutes with his wife (I think) getting somewhat violent.
Maybe it is a cultural thing arguing with customers but it just ruined it for all 10 of us. We will never go back to the resteraunt as well as to tell people to not go there. Check the other reviews, bad service and they have never honored thier own coupons.... Horrible Horrible experience

Delicious Persian Dinner.
We went for a dinner on a Sunday night and ordered a combo Koobideh, asking to add barbarries to basmati rice, and baked henn with a raisen and nut rice. Portions were enormous, it was very delicios. A lavash bread served as soon as we sit down was hot and yammi. Service was good and cortious. We had an entertainment card that gives you "buy 1 get 1 free" menu items and it was honored. We were told the restaurant has alive music Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30pm until 4am. So we decided to come back!

Don't waste your money.
What a disappointment. The service is extremely slow and the wait staff could seem to care less. The food was ordinary at best. On top of that the place was dirty and not kept up at all.

Very Tasty!.
I love Persian food and have been to many different Persian restaurants. I prefer going with my dad, since he is Persian, because I have noticed that we not only get better service with someone who can speak Farsi but they are a lot more friendly. I went to Orchid on a Tuesday around 6.30ish and we were the only ones in there. It was just my mom and I so I was a little wary but we decided to sit anyway. It is sooo beautiful in there! Not only was the food FABULOUS (I ordered the beef barg...my favorite dish) but the ambiance was lovely. They had delicious bread and the beef was very tender. The manager checked on us many times and the waiter was very thoughtful. I will definitely be returning to Orchid!

below average Persian.
My husband and I went there last night, a Tuesday for dinner. Well it must have been an off night because the service was slow (which makes no sense as it wasn't packed), and the waiter had absolutely no personality. It took five minutes to get a menu, and another five to get drinks. I did enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant because soft Persian music was playing in the background.
I ordered the shrimp and mahi mahi kabob combo., which came with of safron rice, a grilled tomato, and an excellent cucumber salad. I enjoyed the mahi mahi, but the shirmp had been grilled a little too long and were tough. My husband had the spicy beef kabob, but it was not at all spicy.
