Good bar service and friendly Staff. I'm originally from Winchester England but for the last 7 years I've lived in the Costa Blanca, Spain. My son and his family lives in Costa Mesa and when I was with them I visited Durty Nellys twice in June 2006 because I'm a Karaoke Junkie who loves to sing and will be back between the 14h June and 28th June this year 2008, I had a great time and the atmosphere was Electric, Kevin the Karaoke Presenter was excellent and everyone loved his Kermit, I hope Kevin is there when I am there, if he is I would like to know if he is now Computerised with 60000 songs or more, last time I had Karaoke backing tracks, it would be nice not to bring them in my Luggage, as a non smoker it is lovely to spend my time and my hobby in a smoke free zone!! I didn't have food so cannot comment,

Awesome Karaoke Bar... Friendly Service... Great for groups both small and large. I have been going to Durty Nelly's for a few years now, and I have always had nothing but the best in friendly servers, great alcohol, and fun music... like a live version of American Idol, except nobody officially reviews you. Other people there are usually really friendly... awesome place to go on a Friday or Saturday night!

Good for drinking and karaoke...... well, I dont agree with the 1st reviewer's comments. I went last night. It "could" be a meat market, but it's really NOT. Our waitress was cold, and never came back to our table. If youre looking for good service, this is definately NOT the place for you. It was bad. The reviewer said the food is pricey......uh, no..... not even close. The most expensive dish on the whole menu was $11.95. Its a "down home cooking" menu, with lots of pot roast/corned beef items. On a positive note, the place is a lot of fun. I had a blast!!! The karaoke was so fun, and the DJ who hosts it made it a really great time. And, the crowd seemed very friendly and nice. So, go with my review- its way more accurate than the first review posted on here. I do recommend this place, though- lots of fun.

Great After Work Drink. This is a very cute little bar/restaurant ... the parking is ample and the people are friendly ... it is clean and authentic ... a great place to have a drink after work with a killer happy hour ... and it gets going after work on fridays especially ... a nice beer selection and you won't feel wierd if you order a cocktail, but it can get a bit pricey if you stray from the happy hour specials ... ladies this is a meat market if your looking to meet guys ... enjoy.
