DO NOT EAT HERE. The owner, Ray, is absolutely AWFUL! He is a complete jerk who over charges and loves to give customers attitude. He hovers while you're eating too which is sure to make you incredibly uncomfortable. Sitting at the sushi bar requires a $20 minimum not including drinks. He is very rigid on this policy. This is not a joke, he once stuffed a candied cricket into my mouth while I was talking to my mother. SO DISGUSTING AND RUDE! he laughed and laughed and I was mortified. Not to mention, the food is not worth the price. The fish never tastes fresh. The restaurant itself is small, dark and uncomfortable. I really do not recommend anything about it. There are plenty of excellent sushi places in the Newport area, but Nagisa is NOT one of them.
