some of the worst service in my life. I will never return and I would never suggest this place to my enemies! I waited for 31 day for my door to be replaced, not a framed straightening just a simple door replacement and painting . I could have deal with that, but every time my insurance company called to get an update there was no return call, and when I asked for an update, there was no information available. After two weeks of waiting for a return call the Insurance company stopped paying for my rental. For weeks we have been waiting on a timeline and I have been told eight different times on eight different days that â??we are working on it,â?? but nothing ever happens. I even talked to a manager, Luis, but he only explained that we never give a timeline to the insurance companies, and blamed it on Enterprise. Every time I have been in the office, someone was complaining about something. Do This is the third time I have been to Spectrum Collision, and I donâ??t know what has changed, but I got yourself a favor and donâ??t go here, unless you donâ??t need you car back for several months.

Spectrum Rocks!. Spectrum Collision rocks, pure and simple! After my sister accidentally backed into my BMW 535i when it was parked in her driveway, I called my friends at Irvine BMW and they referred me to Spectrum. Chris is amazing. He checked in with me for updates regularly and when my car was ready 2 1/2 weeks later, it was better than new! They totally took care of me. They are authorized by BMW to work on BMW's so why wouldn't you go there? Morgan is a rock star too! She's the person every business owner wants to have on the front lines delivering excellent customer service!

Great place for BMWs. When a guy playing with his phone decided to drag the side of his Lexus across the corner of my near-mint condition 2009 BMW M3, I spent nearly 2 weeks searching for the best BMW repair shop in Southern California. Eventually BMWUSA, Bimmerfest, L4P, Yelp and a few other websites led me to Spectrum Collision in Irvine. Spectrum is one of only 3 BMW-certified repair shops in the entire Los Angeles area. Even though it was 50+ miles away from my home, the strength of its reviews and my initial meeting with Rob DeJong at Spectrum made me choose them.

Rob DeJong (pronounced “De-yung”) ended up being my Service Advisor throughout what ended up being a six week ordeal. The other guy’s insurance company, Farmer’s Insurance, quickly accepted liability, but they consistently tried to pay far less than the actual damage cost. Their estimates missed several parts that needed to be replaced, and tried to use refurbished parts rather than new ones. Rob DeJong fought on my behalf the entire way. He had to call them repeatedly and had to force them to visit Spectrum shop 3 or 4 times to revise their estimates.

I visited their shop while the car was disassembled and was also given a tour of the facility. The quality of the work, the workspace and equipment is far beyond what I’ve seen at other body shops (I’ve seen quite a few). The work itself was great. All the parts are lined up properly, and the gaps are all even. They did warn me when I picked up my car that the paint would need to bake and that some minor bubbling may occur, and they actually plan a 90-day inspection and re-paint/touch up to take care of any issues. I do have a couple of minor bubbles, and I recently got some new un-related damage to one of my doors, so I will post an update once I take my car back to Spectrum in a week or two.

Even though I’m very happy with the work, the efforts of Rob DeJong dealing with the insurance company are what set this experience apart from the rest.

Spectacular Service!. I recently had my 7 series repaired at Spectrum Collision. There was significant damage and the job was done in a reasonable amount of time (2.5 weeks) and executed with perfection. There is absolutely no trace of the damage. My car looks brand new. Rob DeJong was the project manager in charge of the work done on my car. This guy really knows his stuff. He discussed every detail with me at considerable length. He was very patient and accommodating at all times. You can tell that he really wants his costumers to be as informed as possible about everything. Also, I never had to call him because kept me updated regularly. Clearly, he loves what he does. Dan Gonzales, who is the guy in charge of your car’s appearance (making sure that it is clean and sparkling), was also amazing. He is equally personable and attentive. Spectrum Collision is like a high-end spa for your car, and insofar as it is stress-free and satisfying, for you too. This was my best experience with a body shop.

If you own a Bimmer or a Porsche, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!. If you love your vehicle as I do mine, Spectrum Collision is the place to go the next time it requires some T.L.C. Regardless of the nature of the visit (e.g., quick wash, reasonably priced detail or major paint & body repair), I am ALWAYS remembered by name, ALWAYS treated as a valued customer & my vehicle ALWAYS receives the care it needs. Chris, Dan & Tracey assist me regularly & surpass my expectations each time; however, the entire crew know what they are doing and work together as a team. The pride they take in doing a good job, the degree to which they strive for perfection & their ability to understand how important my car is to me is refreshing, unsurpassed in my opinion & just some of the many reasons I sincerely recommend Spectrum Collision Center.

FIRST RATE EXPERIENCE. My wife's immaculate BMW 530xi recently got keyed at Staples Center which was a real bummer. The only good part of it was the great experience we had with Spectrum Auto Collision in Irvine. Just before the damage to the car the BMW Club of Los Angeles had a meeting there where we all got a chance to see the fantastic work they do at Spectrum. The thing that came across was the passion and the incredibly high standards Spectrum had for their customers repair to their cars.

When I had the car repaired after the keying the work was done to the highest standards that BMW owners expect and the service was first rate. The car was repaired when promised and looked even better than new !! Luckily our auto insurance policy paid for all but the deductible and our experience with Spectrum made the low point of the keying of the vehicle into something very positive. I have recomended Spectrum to several friends who have had the same great experience and would have no hesitation in returning for future work, if ever necessary.

A perfect 10. 8 years ago, my baby sustained bumper damage from being rear-ended. I called my local BMW dealer and was advised to go to Spectrum Collision Center. The insurance claim was handled smoothly and efficiently. My car was returned to me in a timely manner and in pristine condition. I was so impressed with the service provided by Luis Pineda, I filed away his business card in case I needed repair work again in the future. Many miles on the odometer later, my baby has become a project car and in desperate need of a makeover. Of course, there was no question who I was allowing to work on my car. This time I was greeted by Dan Gonzales at Spectrum Auto Spa. And once again, the committment to customer service was obvious from the start. Beginning with an accurate estimate of repair costs, courteous and prompt follow up, and ending in quality workmanship. My car was returned to me in such beautiful condition, I could hardly believe it! I am obliged to write this review because loving BMW owners in So Cal need to know that this is THE place to take your vehicle for collision repair and restoration. I especially recommend those of you who are bringing your older model BMW back to life to give Spectrum a call. You will not be disappointed.

BEST collision repair I've ever experienced!. I took my car in with some significant damage to the front end. The technicians at Spectrum thoroughly evaluated the scope of the damage and were careful to repair everything necessary without overdoing it. The final bill was less than the original bid and the car was completed earlier than promised. most importantly, the quality of their work was perfect. The car is showroom ready and the work they did is better than any other repair work I have ever had done on any of my other cars over the past 30 years! While I hope not to need their services again, I will not think twice if i need any other body and collision repairs in the future. thank you very much.

Great customer service Quality workmanship. I had my 1990 BMW repainted by Spectrum Collision 8 years ago and it still looks like new. I took my car in last week for some minor scratches on the rear bumper. They gave me an estimate of $393.00 to repaint the bumper. When they got into the job they noticed the bumper was cracked and recommended that the bumper be replaced. Because they guaranty the quality of their work they wanted to do it right. I appreciated that were honest with me and they didn't want to do it half-assed. I gave them a few extra days and the repair was done on time and it looks like new. When I went to pay my bill it was $393.00. They want totally happy customers. I've had other work done at Spectrum Collision and the repairs were always done on time and at the price quoted. Their customer service is excellent and their body and paint technicians are BMW trained. It's as good as it gets.

Quality repair through and through!. This is a followup to the review made previously. At Spectrum Collision we strive to put the vehicle back to its pre-accident condition. This particular vehicle took a majority impact "directly" to the rear decklid. When a panel "collapses" like this, there is a chance that the panels adjacent to it will sustain some "indirect" damage. Once the new decklid was replaced, it became evident that there was movement to the rear body panel.

The vehicle was reinspected by the insurance company who agreed with the additional neccesary repairs to return this vehicle back to the proper alignments. the unibody was checked to insure that no further damage had occurred. The end result is a quality repair, not just a repair that looks "cosmeticly acceptable".

This repair will be backed by a lifetime guarantee, not just by the shop but by the BMW certified program guidelines. All of our customers, (no matter what gender) are treated with the utmost respect and dignity.
