Excellent!. I was going to a wedding about a week ago and i was soo stressed over not finding a good dress. Finally 4 DAYS before the wedding i found what i was looking for, but the dress turned out to be too long and alittle too big for me. In panic i rushed to Le Papillon Tailoring in Irvine and asked what they could do. In such short time Le Papillons master tailor (a very sweet lady) made the dress fit PERFECTLY on me. It was beyond my expectations, especially since the dress was all beaded, i didnt even think it would be possible to alter it, but she made it possible and she had it done before the wedding. Good job!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! She's the best tailor!. AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG experience. Unlike the other individual who left a review, I have had numerous amazing experiences with this tailor. That must have been one mistake, she's human and I know she is very honest. It's unfortunate that it's not popular for people to put up reviews because I'm sure many people would agree with me. She was recommended to me by several people. She is such a sweet lady and she is great at her job. She is so kind and sincere it's always a pleasure to go in there.I truly recommend her to anyone that needs any tailoring done. She also made a dress for a close friend of mine (all custom done) and it looked exactly like a Roberto Cavalli dress we were obsessing over and my jaw dropped when I saw it. Truly an artist and what an amazing job she does! I'm so happy I have her as a tailor in my neighborhood. If anyone needs an awesome tailor....she's defenatly the one!
Terrible Experience.
I dropped off 2 pairs of new slacks (one was brand new, one I had worn once) to have the hem let out on a Saturday. I was told they would be ready on Wednesday. I came to pick them up on Wednesday at 6:00 pm and was told that they weren?t ready, but that I could wait for them. She also proceeded to show me a 2 inch slit in the leg of the pants close to where she had cut the thread to take the hem out.
She said that it was there and she wanted to bring it to my attention in case I wanted to return the pants. Having worn them once I know for a fact that I would have noticed a 2 inch slash in the pants and if nothing else one of us would have noticed it when we were looking the pants and the length I wanted them. It is clear that the seamstress accidentally cut the pants as she was working on them.
The owner refused to admit fault and charged me for the work. I?m disappointed because I had hoped to become a long time customer of a mom and pop shop in my neighborhood.
