The country's first drive-thru chain with made-from-scratch burgers and a devout following..
In Short
Founded in 1948, In-N-Out locations are known for their eye-catching yellow-arrow logo and spic-and-span red and white interiors. The streamlined menu includes fries, beverages and three types of hamburgers. These all-beef burgers are topped with fresh vegetables and Thousand Island-like dressing on griddled buns with optional American cheese; fries--oversized potatoes with the skins still on--are dunked in cholesterol-free cottonseed oil until just the outsides are done.

Best Burgers Ever!.
One of the best burgers you'll ever eat! Great prices too! I would recommend getting the chocolate milk shake to go along with your buger (animal style) and fries (double dipped). Soooo good!

Great burgers.
In-n-Out has the best burgers in town. They also have great fries. The best part about this place is the fact that they have a secret menu. For example, ordering a hamburger "protein style" means you will get it surrounded in lettuce instead of a bun.

You've Got To Be Kidding.
If you actually thin In-N-Burger has good burgers, you must be used to eating at McDonalds. The list of restaurants for good burgers is so long it's heard to know where to start. Try BJ's Pizza, Marie Callendars, Red Robin, The Road House Inn, etc. In-N-Out burgers are the most tastless things I've ever eaten. Even Carl's Jr has better burgers.

My mainstay.
Having grown up with In-N-Out, I will never understand the national mythos of the place. Despite this, the burgers, fries and shakes (that's all they sell!) are delicious and make me briefly forget/ignore that I'm polluting my body.

How the West Was Won.
What is there to say about In-N-Out that hasn't already been said? The family owned and operated burger chain is the exemplification of the mantra "Do one thing, and do it well." The In-N-Out hamburger is one thing the West Coast (particularly California) could brag about, and where anyone else would not have an answer. To have a hamburger made consistently well and be so accessible in California is merely a dream in other places. In-N-Out's tried and true combination of fresh produce, fresh sponge buns, and delicious ground beef patties in tandem with what many consider the best french fries ever made (in-store cut potatoes fried in cholestrol-free vegetable oil) have made it a mainstay in the Californian's diet. When you visit California, there is only one kind of fast food chain hamburger that is acceptable, and that is the In-N-Out hamburger.
