6 STARS!!!. Houston's is the best! They have such a wide verity of dishes, that even the pickiest of eaters would find something to love here! Everything is delicious, fresh, and nothing tops the service!

Can't go wrong. Always a solid pick.

Can't go wrong with the Ribs.

They also have Sushi that is quite good.

Large parties need not apply. Can I make a reservation for a party of ten? No, we only accept reservations for 6 or less, you can walk in, was the answer. Wow, the place must be the worlds best and the economy is booming in Irvine.

Roomy banquettes and hefty portions typify this polished American grill that's popular for business deals and special occasions.. In Short
Burnished brass and stained wood complement roughly mortared brick and the occasional plant. Amid ubiquitous earth tones, corporate types and small parties (celebrating or simply living large) occupy deep booths done up in fine upholstery and lit from above by pin spotlights. Burgers, prime rib and steaks are the specialties of the house, but the menu also includes salmon, salads, pork chops and roasted chicken.

Nothing special. The hostess and wait staff were friendly, quick and attentive. Other than that, there was nothing special about Houston's. The french dip was fatty and bland. The salad was more like dressing soup. The selection was lacking. The decor was adequate.

best steak ANYWHERE. I have to rave, rave, RAVE about Houston's Hawaiian Ribeye. I am a big steak enthusiast and have eaten the best steaks at the best restaurants, but Houston's Hawaiian Ribeye hands down beats them all: morton's, lawry's, ruth chris, porterhouse, ANYWHERE. You must go there if not only for the Ribeye. Besides, the ribeye, I also really like the tuna burger which is just so juicy and delicious. The other complaint I could possibly have about the food is that I find the dessert to be a bit too sweet, even for me!

Good food but fast services.. The food is surprising good.

I have the hawaiian rib-eye steak. It's juicy, sweet and favourful.

The decoration is trendy and dark.

The only dreaback is the fast services.

You order your food, drink a lttle, chat a little and.. then... here come the bill.

The place is not that big, therefore they need the quick table take-around the make the money.

Good for meeting friend and first date, but not romantic enough to charm your second date here.

The Best Hamburger in OC. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch yesterday which included the World's Best French Dip Sandwich, the Thai Salad and a Cheeseburger (rare) that was really exceptional.

Mr.. Absolutely, the best french dip sandwich I have ever eaten. The hamberger is superb, a 10! I love the atmosphere, the service is excellent and the quality of all the food is excellent.
