was good before but not anymore... Sagami used to be our favorite to-go sushi place. We have been going there for many years.. We loveD their Chirashi bowl(sushi rice w/ different types of sushi on top). It was good .. until recently after they finished remodeling the store, the quality just going down hill. Tonight we had the worse experience there ever. We called first and went there to pick up our chirashi bowl.. The place is about 10 minutes away, and we had to wait another 30 mintues after we arrived. When we got home we were suprised... There was so little rice, so little sushi on top, and the ginger.. only 2 thin slices..that's pathetice!! This bowl cost $12.95 + Tax, and always came with Sea Urchin and Scallops.. There were none tonight. We did get the usual sweet shrimp, small piece of salmon, cooked egg, one piece of tuna, one piece of white fish and a tiny little bit of Octopus(size of a quarter). We feel like we got rubbed! If they run out of fish, they simply shouldn't take the order. We're very disappointed and will not go back again.

Forgot to mention.. the service wasn't good either. It is simply not worth it.

great for lunch takeout. its a really tiny store. food is great with lots sushi section.

you get 10% with UCI student card. i would avoid rush lunch hour, cuz the line... line is too long.
