delicious!. Best mexican food in town. The carnitas burrito is great. And a little secret is they will give me Tapatio from behind the counter if I ask for it. Yummm!!

Best family owned small chain. This happens to be my first time writing a review. My family has been eating at the original Tustin location since 1989. Yes, I've also had lunch & dinner at the Irvine location. Food is the same, it's just not the original location is all. My entire family prefers this small setting vs. the large corp type resturants. Yes it's also a bit more expensive, yet well worth the money. As for me personaly, I eat their on balance 2 to 3 times every month. Their rice & beans are fantastic, the tacos, burritos and everything I've had on the menu are all great & their families own salsa is some of the best. I highly recomend Jalapenos. Enjoy

Almost as good as Jalapenos Grille. I love Jalapenos family restaurants. The new one in Woodbury is awesome. Great location and love the fountains outside. I like Tusin & Irvine-Woodbury for their potato Tacos! So good.

My favorite location is by cal state fullerton. They have the best Carne Asada, it's cut thinner and is so tender. They also have a chipotle chicken salad to die for. Oh and flautas that none of the Jalapenos have. I can't find the Jalapenos Grille on City Search. But If you're looking for excellent Mexican in norther OC www<dot>jalapenosgrille<dot>net

LOVE Jalapeno's!. I've been a fan of the original location in Tustin since my family moved there back in the late 80's. In fact, I'm going there for lunch today! They have THE BEST beans, THE BEST chips, perfect tostadas and I love the crunchy shredded beef tacos...oh and the nachos! YUM! And the taquitos! Now that I think about it, I guess I love everything I've ever tried on the menu. Even the fish tacos are tasty. The owner is always there (at the Tustin location) and I've been seeing the same guys working in the kitchen for years. I love the family feeling & warm greeting that I get every time I visit! Oh, and they deliver to the bar next door! ;)

Great Mexican foood. Jalapenos is the best mexican restaurant around. The food is always great, and the atmosphere is clean and relaxed. There is always unlimited chips and fresh salsa. I recommend the carne asada. You can always get things added or taken off to your liking.... like no onions or easy sour cream. the food is a bargain also, you will have a hard time spending more then ten bucks per person. everyone loves it. i cant come up with a negative about the place

My whole family loves the food!. We go to Jalapenos all the time! Everyone in my family loves it from my 8 year old cousin to my 94 year old grandmother! The food is great. My grandmother loves the chips from there. She says they're the freshest and crunchiest. The beans are really good. It's one of our favorite places to eat! The service is fast and accurate. The restaurant is clean and cute. I recommend the carnitas plate, the chile rellnos, and the cheese enchiladas plate. It's a really good deal for Irvine!
